About this cottage rental
Ocean View and direct access to a beautiful, wide neighborhood beach right across the beach road. No cottages on the oceanfront to block views nor access. With no public parking in the area this beach is primarily for locals so pack your umbrella and head on over! Lifeguard stand is about 100 yards from our front yard and they patrol regularly for your safety.
Give us FIVE! We want you to feel right at home at Waterview Two and we will work to make it happen. We are looking for the highest rating possible and want you to return to our beautiful beach home year after year.
Description/Amenities
You can hear those crashing waves as you sit on the deck with your morning coffee or your evening cocktails. Direct access to the beautiful wide beach makes this fantastic semi-oceanfront home the perfect choice for couples and families of 8 or less. Beach access is right across the street and there are no houses between Waterview Two and the ocean.
Sit on the front deck rockers or swing and enjoy breezes from the Atlantic Ocean! When you open the door, the beachy furnishings and decor will make you smile. In the the lovely living room/kitchen area you can relax with views of the beach from its large picture windows or dine at the large farm table. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, each decorated beautifully in beach/nautical themes. Downstairs downstairs find enclosed outdoor shower, spacious laundry room, storage and parking.
Ground Level: Parking for 4 cars, Enclosed outside shower, covered deck, access to beach just feet away across beach road with crosswalk for safety. Laundry and secure storage is on the ground floor, also covered sitting area.
Main Level: Beachy keen! Waterview Two cheery decor will keep your spirits high. Open plan kitchen and living areas with high speed internet & cable, 50" smart TV, Blu-Ray player and ocean views. Gather the family for lively breakfasts around the lazy susan dining table. Kitchen conveniences are all there with range, microwave, and fridge with icemaker. No dishpan hands! Enjoy the dishwasher.
Retire in comfort after each full vacation day. 3 Bedrooms upstairs: Master with Queen, TV and full bath, another Queen, another with full-sized bed & bunk beds, full hall bath, covered porches front and back. Watch the sun rise of the Atlantic from the front and set to the west in the back.
Features include: Central AC/Heat, Washer/Dryer, dishwasher, microwave, 2 TVs, Blu-ray play, ceiling fans in every room, and deck furniture.
Rents Saturday to Saturday in the high season.
About linens: We want your vacation to be as pleasant and convenient as possible. Linens are always a question and different owners handle it in different ways. We provide sheets and bath towels. *IF* you decide to use them, you agree to wash, fold and return them to where you found them. Otherwise there is a $100 laundry fee. BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS! You are welcome to bring your own linens or rent from the OBX linen companies as well.

This house was perfect for stay. Very clean, well stocked, and owners responded very quickly to my concerns. My only complaint was i paid for linens and the beds were not made up. In the 15 years I've been staying at OBX the beds were always made.

We spent a long weekend at waterview two and it was perfect. House was clean had everything you could want and was set up perfectly for pets too. We were able to bring our dog with us. We appreciated how close to the beach the house is and we really enjoyed days on the beach and evenings on the porch!!! It was perfect!!!!

This was our 2nd year vacationing at this jewel of a home on the Kitty Hawk beach. We also bring our dogs for fun runs on the beach and because even the puppies deserve a vacation!
Mark is a perfect host and the property couldn't be cuter or more comfortable. We're already planning for next October.
Check out the great restaurants and shopping. Grocery stores very close by if you want to cook in. We're not into fishing but saw quite a few great catches if you are. Super nice having sheets & towels on hand so we don't have to bring our own.
I can't say enough good things about this home. Please check it out with your kids whether two or four legged!
