Modern farmhouse located on 53 acres of manicured rolling hills.

Our stay at the farm was amazing! We had a group of 9 and we were comfortable for the most part. The home is very modern especially the bathrooms! Beautiful! The kitchen and dining room were the heart of the house! We cooked together and enjoyed eating together. I took off one star from cleanliness due to the condition of the refrigerator and grill. We had to clean both areas more before we could use them and I took off one star from the accuracy of the listing due to the picture of the home causing some confusion when we arrived because the picture online is of the back of the house so when you arrive it looks different then the picture. Also the basement room is made for younger children not adults, that’s probably my overlooking that detail but it would have been nice to have that in the description a bit more plainly stated. These things were only minor inconveniences and they did not dampen the beauty of the farm and Lauren’s hospitality and her care in making sure we were comfortable and safe during our stay. She alerted me of any potential issues we may come across during our stay and was accessible before, during, and after our stay. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area!

This property is one of a kind. It has everything you could want for a long weekend away, or even an extended stay, in the countryside. You immediately feel the warmth and history of this home from the moment you step foot into the kitchen / living area. From there, it only gets better. The views are spectacular and everything is so well maintained & loved. There are plenty of rooms and bathrooms, and essentially unlimited outdoor space for whatever activity you could imagine. Instant memories were made during our stay with 8 friends. Lauren was a fantastic host - very responsive, detailed, and thoughtful.

Great stay! Celebrated Christmas here with our family and it checked all the boxes. The host went above and beyond, even setting up a Christmas Tree for us. I'd recommend this property for almost any occasion. We'll be back!

Our family took advantage of these "working remote" times and booked an extended stay at this well-maintained and beautiful property in rural Pennsylvania, combining work and pleasure around the Thanksgiving holiday. The property was just the change of scenery we were looking for! We had a wide range of ages from 9 to 76 in our group and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property is huge and peaceful with ponds and a stream running through the property. We enjoyed waking to amazing sunrises, watching the deer running through the fields on the hillside across the stream, geese taking a rest on the pond, the fox sneaking down to the water to get a drink and hawks flying overhead. Our boys spent hours in the boat fishing and caught several fish. We enjoyed the huge fireplace in the outdoor kitchen and the hot tub on the deck. The tree swing was a big hit with all the boys, and a few of the adults too! The kitchen was extremely well stocked and was a joy to cook in. The house is bright and cheerful. The living space is larger than the photos seemed to indicate.The only thing that detracted a little bit was the internet- and cell phone connection, but only because we were doing work and school remotely. After we reached the internet cap, the speed during peak hours made it very difficult to do work, especially if video calls were required. Using our cell phone as a hot spot did not help. There are several places in town with internet, so in a pinch, go grab a coffee and use theirs. The owner alerted us to the connection situation well in advance of our trip and was very helpful and communicative during our stay.We hope we have another opportunity to stay here in the future!
