Farm House in Itamonte, MG

>> THE SPACE
Farmhouse of 1881, with rustic accommodation in rooms, full kitchen with wood burning stove and leisure area with barbecue. It has 3 bathrooms, 2 internal and 1 external. Next to rivers and with area conducive to ecological walks and rural tourism.
The house has 6 bedrooms (1 double room) with 17 single beds and 4 double plus loose mattresses.
The big house is in the municipality of Itamonte | MG - Capelinha neighborhood - in the Serra da Mantiqueira. Built in 1881, Capelinha Farm is in a region of mountains and surrounded by lush nature, where you can enjoy: fresh air, trails, rivers, horseback riding and everything that surrounds ecotourism. From September to April the days are favorable for river bathing and the nights are cool and starry due to the proximity to the mountain. In winter months the temperatures are low and favorable for those who like to enjoy the cold of the mountains, with wood stove and much prose into the night. Near the farm house there are natural water pools and rapids. The barbecue area is on the farm grounds. There is room to park the cars, but open-air parking.

>> GUEST ACCESS
Enjoy the river baths with clean and invigorating water nearby the farm. With prior notice there is the possibility of enjoying a good ride. The space has the power to engage all who enjoy eco-tours, diving in natural water pools, ecotourism and also the practice of river sports such as rafting, canoeing, cross buoy and acquaride.

>> INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The house is 7 km from the city and a contact will be made available by one of the responsible for emergencies. If you would like to know about tour guidance please ask in advance for the appointment of professionals.

>> THE BAIRRO
Located in a privileged area of Serra da Mantiqueira where it is possible to contact with wild animals and connection with nature. Crossed by the river of crystal clear waters a great option for those who want to rest and escape the stress of big cities.

>> HOW TO GET
SÃO PAULO: The farm is located on BR 354, km 752. If you come from São Paulo, through the Serra de Cruzeiro, when arriving in Itamonte you should follow the highway BR 354, towards Rio de Janeiro. Capelinha Farm is 7 km from the city and visitors have access to the farm on the left side of the highway as soon as they see a blue church and "Capelinha, Hill, River Up" signpost. Once you enter the dirt road after passing the blue church you will be at Capelinha Farm.

RIO DE JANEIRO: The farm is located at BR 354, km 752. If you come from Rio de Janeiro, through the Serra da Mantiqueira, when you reach the top of the mountain, at the height of the Hotel São Gotardo in 11.5 km you will reach the farm. The access will be on the right side of the highway - "Capelinha Neighborhood, Hill, River Up" signs. Once you enter the dirt road after passing the blue church you will be at Capelinha Farm.

>> OTHER INFORMATION
The daily rate includes up to 6 people for R $ 400.00. Each additional person will be charged $ 50.00 per day. Cook: If you want a person available to cook you will be charged separately and reservation is required in advance.
We rent horses for tours, it is necessary to request in advance for the preparation of the animals.
