Situated on private Chapman Beach in Westbrook. Guests can enjoy an afternoon swim on a private beach within a 2 minute walk and later watch the sun set from private balcony. Spend the day away enjoying the nearby attractions such as Outlet Shopping, Historic Essex, Train and River Boat Cruises, Antiquing in Old Saybrook, Gillette Castle or Goodspeed Opera House, Public Golf Coarse, Movie theaters, Miniature Golf. Fishing or Hiking along the shoreline or just walking around the nearby marinas. Short 30 minute drive to the casinos. Enjoy dining from casual to formal within a short drive.

We enjoyed the month of August at this property including Chapman Beach, neighboring restaurants in Westbrook and Old Saybrook and local activities. Would definitely recommend.

The location was perfect, nice views and one minute to the beach. It had everything that was needed to make me comfortable including an air conditioner and washer and dryer. It is a one bedroom but still spacious for company to visit. Loved that there were two decks, one in the front and one in the back. Lots of wildlife to enjoy watching. Looking forward to staying here again!

What a wonderful 2 weeks - the location was excellent! One block to the private beach, the residents were welcoming and the neighborhood quiet and easy for morning runs, bike and walk. Only 1 mile from the grocery and minutes from 95 for day trips. Surrounding towns all minutes away for things you may have forgotten to bring with you.
Our landlords are really easy to reach and responsive, but gave us privacy. The lodging is a perfect set-up for relaxing, cooking and the best smart-tv for rainy days. Sending a big shout out and Thank YOU! to our hosts. See you next year... :)

This property was the perfect size for my husband and I. We stayed for 12 days and it had plenty of room for just the two of us. The location was great, as we were never more than 30-45 minutes away from the golf courses and wineries in the area. We walked to the private beach in less than 5 minutes and it was never crowded while we were there. Plenty of wildlife to see from the deck (squirrels, birds, rabbits, and fireflies). We will definitely stay here again!
