Our beach cottage is part of the beautiful Chapman Beach community in Westbrook, CT, and is LESS THAN A FIVE MINUTE WALK TO BEACH! Chapman beach is a private beach community with beautiful sands and calm waters ready for you to relax and enjoy.
Our cottage was built in the 1950's and is a stylish yet comfortable and relaxing space with a cozy cottage feel. You don’t have to worry about bed and bath linens. When you arrive, the beds will be made and beach towels, chairs, and umbrella will be ready to go so you can start to relax upon arrival.
The backyard is beautiful and peaceful offering both sun and shaded areas. The back porch is a screened interior space with an outdoor feel, making it a great place to relax with a cup of coffee, evening cocktail or enjoy games on a rainy day.
Chapman beach is conveniently located within minutes of Route 1, I-95 and the Westbrook train station. Old Saybrook and Essex are nearby and have have small New England town centers with great restaurants and shopping. New Haven and Yale are just 25 minutes to the west, Mystic 20 minutes to the east and casinos with great shows just 30 minutes away.

Property was just as described. Clean, comfortable and cozy! The short walk to the beach was also on point. A wagon was available to allow us to take chairs and any other items we needed. The beach was clean and never overcrowded.George was a great host! He answered all questions we had and helped us reset the tv after a brief power outage. Plenty of nearby shopping and restaurants. We didn’t want to leave and will be booking again soon!

The house is just a few minutes walk from the beach, so it's easy to go back and forth (great with a family). The neighbourhood and the beach are very quiet. The owners are friendly and provide everything needed for a great stay, including all the beach stuff.
