Villa Incanto on the Sea

Here are my top 3 reasons why I would recommend this accommodation. 1. The setting. After lots of city stays this peaceful setting on the ocean felt like a sanctuary. There is a large outdoor space with multiple comfortable seating options to enjoy the ocean breeze in the shade or sun. I think we spent more time here than exploring around because it was so lovely to sit outside to relax, read, eat & sip. 2. The hosts. Veronica & Alessio were just so welcoming, helpful & lovely. They provided everything we needed & more. 3. The location. Away from the business but still less than a 15 minute drive to Ortigia & Siracusa. We also easily drove to Noto, 2 different nature reserves & several beautiful beaches. We planned to drive to Ragusa from here too, but the seaside garden setting was too difficult to leave.

It was perfect, a 20 out of 10. The view is spectacular, even prettier than in the photos. The private parking saved us a lot of stress. We drove to Ortigia in less than 10minutes. And to Noto in 30 minutes. The apartment is very clean and well equiped. We have a very active toddler of 2,5 years who enjoyed running around on the grass trying to catch the cats while we could sit and relax, because he couldn't "escape" from the yard. The beds were very comfortable. We got some great tips from the hosts who were very friendly. Great restaurant 3 minutes walk away, we kept going back. Ristorante Zio Agatino. This is a great place to stay if you want to visit Ortigia (or the rest of the region) without the stress of driving in narrow streets and finding a parking space. And certainly if you have small children.

Nothing, it was the best place we stayed in Sicily.
