About this house rental
Relax and enjoy everything our lakefront cottage has to offer. We provide all bed linens and towels, along with a fully equipped kitchen featuring a coffee maker, blender, toaster, crockpot, propane grill, cookware, dishes, and utensils. Stay connected with complimentary WiFi and enjoy the convenience of an in-home washer and dryer.
The first floor includes a fully equipped kitchen, a separate queen bedroom, and an updated full bathroom with a stand-up shower. Please note that the bathroom is more compact than those found in many newer homes, but it has been thoughtfully updated and is fully functional.
Upstairs, you'll find two additional bedrooms: one with a queen bed and another with a queen bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed, making the cottage a great fit for families and groups.
The semi-finished walkout basement is the perfect place to unwind with a game of ping pong or store extra food and drinks in the second refrigerator/freezer. A convenient half bath is easily accessible from both the backyard and the waterfront.
Step outside to enjoy 50 feet of private waterfront. Spend the day kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing, rowing, or cruising in the pedal boat. In the evening, fire up the propane grill (starter propane included; refill station nearby), then gather around the fire pit and relax under the stars.
Guests have full access to the property and waterfront, including:
3 kayaks
2 stand-up paddleboards
1 canoe
1 rowboat
1 pedal boat
Life jackets for guests of all ages
Neighborhood: Our cottage is located in a friendly, established lake community where neighbors know one another and enjoy spending time outdoors. You may occasionally see neighbors chatting or walking nearby, and some have friendly dogs that are off leash. If you're traveling with a dog that is reactive or prefers extra space from other dogs, we recommend keeping your pet leashed and supervised while outdoors.

Our two families found there was more than enough room for 8 of us. 4 adults and 4 children between the ages of 5 and 12. It was great to have the kayaks and paddle boats to take around the pond. The kids really liked the fact they could just walk out the back door and run and jump off the dock. We are definitely looking at coming back.

The place had pretty much everything you would need. Its very close to the water. I liked the fact it had at least 3 beds. The pond is quiet. Great place to just relax.

We have stayed at many VRBO properties and this was at the very top. The location was great (Right on the water). Very quiet with friendly neighbors. The property was very clean with everything we needed. The Hosts were exceptional and easy to get in touch with. We had a minor problem that they took care of immediately. We found our new summer get away with this property. We will definitely return.

This was our third stay at this Granny Kent cottage. The house is warm and cozy with everything needed to be comfortable and entertained. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and exploring in the pedal boat. A great place to stay!
