The accommodations themselves were well appointed and rustic but not fancy by any stretch. Greatest selling point to this place was the location! It was absolutely perfect for a quick beach getaway. No TV and limited cell phone reception, perfect place to disconnect. Brach was only a few yards away (not beach front) and the town of Puerto Viejo was perfect and quaint.

Only one AC unit in the upstairs bedroom, beds were uncomfortable and the owner spammed constantly with emails to pay deposits, and partial payments etc. I get rules but the constant spamming and barrage of messages left me uneasy.
