Old Armoury Barn

Perfect quiet location just what we wanted. Beautifuly appointment spacious property with a great sized kitchen to prepare your meals on. Well stocked with all the equipment you need for day to day living. The host Mark wad so helpful with any questions we needed answered. A lovely little welcome pack was provided which we very much appreciated. Fresh flowers on the dining table and in both bedrooms and bathrooms which was a lovely touch. Small warning for large width cars a very tight entry lane to drive down for the less competent diver.. my husband managed it with ease with a 4x4. We would definitely return to this property which speaks volumes.

Delightful, renovated barn with nice open plan living / kitchen area in the upper level and sleeping accommodation on the ground level. Very central and convenient for exploring the town & shopping . Host lives next door so very straightforward to get access on arrival.

Nothing really. The approach to the vehicle parking area requires driving through a very narrow lane which might exclude some vehicles but with care we were able to get to the parking spot beside the front door.

Really well equipped converted barn cottage. Contemporary feel but with log burner and beams. Beds really comfy, and all facilities working well. Hosts left delicious homemade scones, jam and cream which was a lovely welcome after a long journey.

Narrow lane to barn to park, which only accomadates one car to park.
