Seahorse

Everything was great. It was right near to the town, yet the street where it is located was quite despite the fact that it is opposite a cafe and a bar, we heard no noise at all. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner is very responsive to messages and had kindly left a bottle of prosecco for us on arrival. Would 100% recommend Seahorse as a place to stay. As a former hotel inspector I have stayed in many places and Seahorse has been a favorite.

Perfect location, very nice touch having a bottle of prosecco waiting for us, the parking pass was a bonus. If we get chance we will stay again and try to use the appartment more as we spent most of our time out and about which was a shame as its a lovely place.

Unfortunately we used google maps to find the appartment which got the one way streets wrong and should have used the guide given by the appartment owners which were correct, lesson learned with that one.

Vi fick information om incheckning förr vistelse, så även vid försening hade vi inget problem med åtkomst. Lägenheten är nog stor för två par, med vi var bara två personer, så hade vi mycket svängrum. Läget är fantastiskt, mitt i Whitby. Många restaurangar och barer finns i närheten. Också är köket väl utrustat.

Sängarna och huvudkuddarna kunde vara bekvämare. Heltäckningsmattan verka lite gammal.

A lovely apartment. Perfect location. Twin beds a little creaky, but comfortable. The steps down to the bathroom were a surprise. Having some mobility issues, I am careful to avoid steps to the bathroom, so mention of this in the property description would have been welcome. The property has a parking permit, which is a great idea. The bathroom could do with a handrail by the steps and the berooms and living rooms could do with some blinds or net curtains for privacy. However, these are minor issues, and we would certainly consider booking again.
