Pink House

Amazing views, great parking, loads of space, well situated for exploring Cornwall. Nice to have a tassimo coffee machine to use. Huge fridge freezer.

Was only left 2 dishwasher tablets which ran out after 3 days. Luckily I had read about this in another review so I brought some of my own just in case. No spare toilet roll provided either. Dishwasher is on its last legs and falls off the runners when you push the bottom rack in. This property could go from good to excellent with a little more thought on what is provided.

The house is really lovely, nice carpets, good furniture, comfy beds and spectacular view. Location was just superb. Neighbours were super friendly and helpful. Mevagissey itself is so quaint and pretty with lots of cafes, restaurants, pubs etc.

Nothing major, just a couple of very small niggles. Considering this is high end accommodation it would have been nice to have enough toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets to last the week. There were no frills like some hosts leave a complimentary bottle of wine, or fudge for the kids, those nice touches make all the difference.

It was very clean and well-equipped everything you needed, beds were very comfortable, the house was perfect for a young family.

The description of the property on the website is very misleading we are both in our late seventies, we had my husband's sister with us she is 84, and had to stay in her bedroom whenever we were in the house, I found it a struggle to go down to the kitchen and lounge area, I only did it on the first day and the last day, my husband who is 79 had to go down all the steps at the side of the property to get the key from the key safe, we were instructed to put the key in the box every time we left the house! No way could we do that the stairs are far too steep even for a young person, the decking all needed cleaning as when wet became very slippery, my husband was very worried about going down the side steps to return the key to the key safe on our departure!!
