Location of the Chata is very nice, close to Terchova and bus stops (easy to get to all Mala Fatra trails from this side of the mountains). The house is just by the river with a private access where You can spend hours (there are steps and rocks shaped so You can lean one's back and have Your feet in the river while drinking wine, which I did). Even though it's just by the quite loud road, the house and the backyard is quiet.
The bathroom is very small, even though I am also very small I had troubles with comfortable access to the sink. But this is not something that would cross the Chata out of the list of the best places in Mala Fatra so I still recommend booking it!

I can definitely recommend staying in Chata Terchová for even 6-8 people, including kids. Good location, close to hiking trails. Clean house, really good equipped kitchen and barbecue area. Our host was really nice and helpful. He was waiting for us so we could meet right on time. Easy check-in and check-out. Absolutely good choice!
