Surprisingly spacious. Very well equipped.
Very Comfortable
The radiator being on in the room with two single beds made it very hot in there.
(Then again, if not on, may have been too chilly!)

Lovely house in Amble - great for families

A lovely, clean, well-equipped house that suited us as a family brilliantly and made a great base for a lovely holiday! From the property we could walk into town for shops and restaurants and the harbour (great Sunday market!) and even a lovely, half hour walk to Warkworth. We could also use the property as a base from which to drive up the Northumberland coast (to Holy Island, Alnwick, Craster, etc) and even get the train from Alnmouth to Edinburgh. SUCH a great location!
It feels like nit-picking to mention any negatives because we had such a great time there. I guess the outside yard was a bit small, and because of the layout of the house it was a little dark in terms of natural light for reading books, but lighting in the house made up for it. The positives FAR outweigh the few, tiny negatives!

The house was cosy and relaxing, the people of Amble were very welcoming.
Can't say we didn't like anyhing, found the stairs difficult but that was personal.
