Great Evacuation Place

The location is great - quiet neighborhood and close to a lot of stores. The place was adequately clean. The property manager responded to my phone call right away even though it was in the evening to make sure we got into the property ok. Good internet service to work remotely. Nice that soap was provided in the bathrooms. We stayed for a couple of days to evacuate from the gulf coast for hurricane Ian.

The armrest on the couch is broken and the place is not well stocked for a comfortable stay - mainly, there was no broom to clean crumbs after dinner and no other cleaning supplies. The dishwasher seemed broken with tape on it so we just washed our dishes with the provided dish soap. Ceiling fan in the master bedroom, but not the other 2 bedrooms. Ghost ants on the kitchen counter.

Loved that it was very close to the concert venue we were visiting. The property was very nice and updated on the interior, but could use a little TLC on the exterior. This was our first time using an airB&B and booking.com for this type of stay. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. The host went above and beyond with some of the issues we had, mostly caused by us. Overall 5*

Hard to find, but clean on inside (outside needed a lot of work).

Very clean on the inside, but it had ants all over the kitchen counter, and a dead roach in the middle of the kitchen floor, which detracted from the rest. It was reasonably close to the casino (the purpose of our stay). Priced a bit high for location, amenities.

Ants on kitchen counter. No coffee maker. Outside needed lots of work. The address on the website was wrong so it too us an hour and several phone calls to find out way there. Wasn't happy with neighborhood (not sure it was safe) but sort of got used to it by the end of the second day there. Not enough towels. Needed bath mats since tile floor was so slippery when wet. Had difficulty locking front door with entry code at first, but we got the hang of it by the time we left. Only a two day stay. Don't think I would do this again. Food left from previous guests in fridge and we were told to just throw it out using a garbage bag under sink.

Sigh!!

Didn’t get to see this property as we were told the previous tenant left it filled with cigarette smoke, so cannot comment on the facility! The second one offered smelt of weed and let say was in a less desirable area, so we asked for refund and had to get somewhere ourselves, currently awaiting investigation and response from Booking.com.

The whole experience...let’s see if Booking.com can redeem themselves?
