The cabin was even better than we expected. Very clean, totally private, larger than it appeared from the pictures. It has everything you need for a romantic little getaway. Bring your own ground coffee and shampoo.Downtown Asheville is 30 minutes away, the Blue Ridge Parkway is 15 minutes from the cabin. The closest store is 15 to 20 minutes, so make sure you stock up on your way in.We had a great time and hope to be back.

My wife and I were looking for a quick getaway to get out of town and get some peace and quiet. This place was great for it. Great privacy, easy instructions, and good accomodations. The roads were a tad hairy if you don’t have a truck or front wheel drive heading to cabin, but that’s the chance you take with a mountain retreat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon at the Get-N-Lucky cabin! Great little getaway on the side of a mountain. Only downside is the couch needs to be replaced, probably just been sat in too much, and there’s no TV in the bedroom (which would’ve been nice since the couch was sunk in). Otherwise, fantastic stay and would definitely come back!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in this cabin for Halloweekend and it exceeded our expectations! It had everything we needed. The hot tub was SO nice after long hours of hiking/exploring Asheville. Very private and cozy, we felt safe! Drive down in the daylight, we did in the dark and it was hard to navigate to cabin.

the only problem we had was the roads on the property are very tight and we were pulling a 24 ft camper that we couln't get in to the cabin.. But there was a spot to disconnect and leave it out of everyones way,. when I called the property manager he was very accepting and had no problem with me leaving it there for the 2 nights.

We stayed in the cabin for the weekend. Checked in Friday and out on Sunday. Close enough to get coffee at the local drip, but Remote enough to enjoy peace and quite. Easy access to the cabin for most. We will be staying At the getting lucky or neighboring Cabins semi annually for sure. With and without kids. 10/10 will recommend to anyone.... anywhere.... anytime.

The renting process was easy. I recommend getting to the property before it’s dark so you can easily see which cabin is the correct cabin. But know you can follow the road all the way around and at the bottom there is a turnaround. The cabins are just like they look in the pictures. Overall we are very happy with our trip! The location is remote enough to be quiet and "away from it all", yet still a short drive to Asheville and the BR Parkway. This was our lodging for an Asheville weekend, but with the amenities, you'd never need to leave. Big thumbs-up on the huge private porch, hot tub, gas logs, and full kitchen. (with laundry!) I look forward to using the grill on our next visit. The pictures don't do this gem justice --- THIS is your destination getaway!

I traveled with my GF and two dogs. The property was perfect for 2 people but a little crowded with 2 dogs. There was plenty of privacy, especially due to time of year with school starting and the cabin being on a hill. If you are taking dogs be aware if they are stubborn you might have some difficulties. The only grass is a little ways down a decent hill. The cabin is really nice and had everything we personally needed. Hot tub has great privacy.
