Great location for access to the mountain, super cozy. Great communication with the hosts.

The creek was beautiful & the water was so clear. That was really the only thing that made us decide to stay. We will not be staying in this place again on our next trip. Photos are of the creek because the cabin was nothing special & our discovery on the 1st night is definitely not "family friendly".

We actually stayed at "Hugs and Kisses" cabin. Highly recommend. Owners are absolutely wonderful. Hoping we visit again soon.

The cabin was simple, yet wonderful and just what we needed.

We had a wonderful weekend away. Our dog loved the creek, we were able to unwind from our jobs and enjoy relaxing in the hot tub, and the cabin was so rustic and nice. We will definitely book again.

The cute cabin was the perfect size for me and my husband. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything that we needed. The queen-sized bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies. In the bathroom, there is a heater/vent which was fabulous when showering on chilly evenings! The owner provided extra heaters which came in handy as the temps got into the 30's in the evenings. The main reason I rented this cabin was for the creek out back and it didn't disappoint. It was so very relaxing sitting out on the deck listening to the water run over the rocks. I wish I was still sitting there! The town of Candler is a great little city. If you like chicken, go to Rocky Hot Chicken Shack - the food is delicious! If you are a fan of Mexican food, try El Chalapa - excellent tacos. There are also a ton of fast food restaurants if that is your thing. The location of the cabin is perfect for visiting Asheville or the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are lots of waterfalls about 45 minutes away.I highly recommend this home and want to go back as soon as I can!

We really enjoyed our trip. The cabin was perfect for us the hot tub was awesome to have on the cold nights and the creek was so awesome Everything was within a 20 minute drive. The pizza place at the end of the road was really good for a quick dinner.

We had a great time staying in this cozy house nestled in the woods beside the creek. We enjoyed hearing the rippling creek while relaxing in the rocking chairs and breathing in the fresh mountain air. This place was just perfect for our couples getaway.

Cute little cabin, comfortable, very cool inside with all the AC units. Really enjoyed the private hot tub and the sound of the creek. Good spot, close to our hot air balloon ride, lots of beautiful waterfalls on the way up, plenty of scenic drives & hiking, close to all the things in Asheville. We had a great time!

The property was mostly great. It's a beautiful location and is as described in the listing. The only drawback and the reason I'm giving 4 stars is that the mattress was kind of sunken in in the middle and really needs to be replaced. Everything else was great.

The cabin is very cozy and is right on a stream. Back portion of home sand patio is very private. Nice hot tub. The fire pit is in the front yard which is not very private, wish it was at the back of property. This is a semi private rental as you are on a road. Let the goat know of small items that would make stay more enjoyable but nothing that would ruin a stay or make us not rent here again. Very responsive host.

The creek was awesome, hot tub was good, nice to have a washer/ dryer as this stay was part of a 15 day road trip. There were ants in the kitchen, but we made sure no food was left out. Overall i would highly recommend! Very cozy and quiet, calm area

This cottage is in a great location if your looking for a place to stay in the Pisgah area. Gas and groceries are close by, and the drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway is an awesome one. The cottage was clean, and easy to find. I received immediate answers to my questions. It has a great back deck to relax on, with a creek directly off of it. It was nice to sit in a hot tub which looks off the deck, into the forest!

Quaint little cabin with rustic appeal and decor. Right on a peaceful stream, nice hot tub on a large porch over looking stream. Great mountain getaway.

Sometimes you find out the hard way. This would be the perfect place to stay in the fall or winter. But it is impossible during the summer. That is unless you don't mind sleeping in an 80 degree room. This one bedroom cabin has a single window AC unit in the dining room. The unit is maybe a 5000 BTU unit intended for a single room up to 150 sq. ft. Which is all well and good if you want to sleep in the dining room. It does very little for cooling the bedroom. There is a box fan provided as well. After trying multiple way to get air flowing into the rest of the house, I tried everything from placing a chair on top of the small table in the kitchen, next to the AC unit with the box fan in the chair to move air with no luck. It was so uncomfortable that the only way to get relief was to spend the night in the truck in the driveway. At least there was AC in the truck. We didn't use the hot tub for fear that it was already unbearable in the house and we did not want to further the discomfort. Very disappointed. I am not one to leave a bad review as I am a realtor who has managed hundreds of vacation rentals along the coast over the last 13 years and I understand sometimes things happen. But, in this case a second AC in the bedroom would be a $200 investment in a nearly $200 per night unit that would make a world of difference. It's done now, the money is spent and the milestone birthday we were celebrating has come and gone. If your vehicle AC works, you should be ok like we were.

This cabin had all the features that we were looking for… listening to the creek out back with access from the deck is just like heaven. It also had a great hot tub outside and was a little cabin in the woods with a fireplace. They do need to do a few cosmetic updates that I relayed to the owner so hopefully next time everything will be five stars.

We loved this cabin. Sitting out on the deck next to the creek was so relaxing and the location in between many great locations in Pisgah National Forest and Asheville was the perfect balance for our vacation. The cabin was perfectly sized for 2 adults and our dog.
Temperatures ranged from 50 to 78 during our visit and the wall A/C unit and radiators were able to keep us quite comfortable. I'm not sure if that would have been the case had it been significantly warmer or colder.
The only thing that could have been better was the mattress. An upgrade here would be nice.

The property is semi private and easy to locate. The check in process was easy and convenient. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. It’s fairly close to food and grocery stores but secluded enough to feel like a getaway. Our only complaint was that the yard guy showed in the morning and was very loud and invasive of the romantic morning we had planned. But property manager was very apologetic and tried to make up for the inconvenience so that was nice. The bed was not very comfortable to sleep on but everything else in the house was cozy. We would definitely stay here again.

The price is extremely high for the amount of space. 1 Amenity and you must wash the bed linen when leaving. Updates to the unit
The foundation is not level.

We had the best weekend staying in this magical little cabin. It was peaceful, private and clean. The creek in the back just makes this place the perfect package. We brought our two dogs and they had so much fun playing in the creek. We hung out in the hot tub (which was hot when we arrived). The check in/check out process was a breeze. Ladies, there is a full length mirror in the bedroom for outfit checks if you plan on going out on the town. Stay here if you need a romantic getaway in the mountains. We will be back!

Great little cabin on the creek!!
Loved our stay at the cabin on the creek. My only complaint is the air conditioner isn't big enough for the cabin, the bedroom stayed HOT!! The location was beautiful, the cabin was just big enough for the 2 of us and our dogs! Gorgeous pictures from our visit!!

Relaxing
Came in for the holiday weekend and this was the perfect place to just relax and unplug. We kept the windows open the whole time because the sound of the water outback was the best sound to fall asleep to.

Loved the music of the creek! So beautiful and relaxing.
This little cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. The hot tub was hot and clean. It was tucked under the covered porch so we enjoyed it even when it was raining. We will definitely keep it in mind for when we return to the area .

We had the best time and loved this cabin. The creek in the back is so lovely. The hot tub was awesome on a cool evening. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Cold weekend in NC
Cabin was small and cozy. Shower was very good. Hot tub was good in beginning, but heater couldn't keep up. It was 15 degrees one night and snow, so that was part of the problem. Glad it is was under roof because it rained the first night. Didn't spend a lot of time there, so for us it was a very good trip.

Cozy cabin on the creek
Cozy weekend getaway spot with a wonderful backyard view, great back porch, close to town and well kept interior home. Definitely needs a privacy fence and double gate in the front yard!

Second time around
My partner and I have been to this property once before. We love the location and privacy. Unfortunately we will not be back a third time.
The first time we went, the floor was disgusting. We just kept socks on and washed frequently. The second time was the same. The floor was so dirty we actually bought a Swifter and mopped ourselves. I dont understand why they can't clean the floors, it takes at most 30 minutes to dry. There were other places in the cabin that could have used more cleaning as well such has bathroom vanity.
We were pretty annoyed about the situation which is why we won't be returning.

Cute cabin, good location
This cabin is conveniently located for access to Asheville and the Pisgah National Forest. Loved the hot tub, gas fireplace, outdoor fire ring, gas grill, and babbling brook. It does need some upkeep--had to turn the heater on in the bedroom with plyers as the knob wasn't attached, light in the closet doesn't work, and unfortunately a lot of dog poop in the front yard. Bring your own camp chairs for the fire ring.

Getaway
Unfortunately we arrived to an inch thick layer of leaves everywhere and had to sweep the back deck ourselves and wipe off the chairs (the firepit chairs were unusable).
Once we got out back to the creek, things were more 'as advertised' and the creek was beautiful.

Great Little Getaway
Perfect little cabin to get away for the weekend. The creek out back was really relaxing for sitting and reading or taking a dip in the hot tub. Highly recommend this property!

Stay
It was a great weekend getaway, but there were definitely some negatives. One of them being ants. We bought a box of muffins and the next day the box was swarmed with ants. Also, the owners asked us to do the laundry before we left which I thought was just a basic service provided.
