About this apartment rental
The “Casa dos Pulidos” tourist apartments are located in rural Ourense, surrounded by crops and extensive oak forests, in the Arnoia river valley. Specifically in the town of Olás de Vilariño, in the Municipality of A Merca, in the province of Ourense, Galicia, Spain.
The stone house where the Casa dos Pulidos Apartments are located, is fully restored and was built some eighty years ago, with the typical design of this area of rural Ourensano. The house was divided into three rooms and was restored into three apartments.
Attached to the apartments we have a farm of 1008 m2, divided between the orchard and a garden area, with stone benches and barbecue.
We carry out the traditional agricultural activities of Galicia: viticulture, vinegar, brandy, liqueurs, varied horticultural crops and extensive rainfed crops. We also raise chickens and broilers.
From our town, Ourense capital is just 25 minutes away by car, Celanova fifteen minutes and Allariz another fifteen minutes.
The closest protected natural areas are the following: Parque Natural do Xures, Parque Nacional da Peneda-Geres, Zepa da Limia, Massif Central Ourensano. On the other hand, in the Arnoia river valley you can see a large number of wild animals and it will be declared a Red Natura 2000 area.
