Immaculate, comfortable accommodation

It was cleaner than anywhere I stayed in Greece. The bed was comfortable. Fridge, cooker and kettle provided, plus plates and cutlery. Good hot shower. Lovely lady (no English)

Had a very pleasant stay and wonderful holiday at Elina.

This property was so comfortable and clean. The beds were neatly arranged , has good air conditioning, refrigerator and kitchen. Has a very good balcony with sea view.

Located a bit higher in sarande, makes it hard for reaching back from the city if you walk uphill after a long day. Not a negative, but sometimes it may be hard. The wifi is bit slow

In need of modernisation

The apartment was very spacious. And the views from the balcony were lovely. The bedrooms had good working airco's. And the beds were comfortable and clean. It was a 10 minutes walk to the centre and 20 minutes walk to the beach.. Some shops in the close vicinity.

We chose this luxury apartment because of the good reviews and value for money. But we honestly had a hard time to understand why the reviews were so positive. We stayed there for 6 days in the luxury apartment. The hosts gave us the keys and asked immediately for the rent. No introduction to the house, amenities or other information. That felt a bit strange. . The living room was quite dusty. Maybe because of the dry weather? There was no airco in the living room. So it felt like a Finnish sauna. So we kept all the doors open for some coolness. The kitchen was big..... But that is all that can be said. An eclectic mix of plates, bowls, cups and glasses. The coffee machine was old, tired and very dirty. Clearly it had not been used in a long while..Same can be said of the sandwich maker. There were literally no products in the kitchen for cooking (apart from salt!) or even making coffee/tea. Luckily we had brought everything with us. The bathroom was hopelessy out of date. The water pressure was terrible. The host came back with three shower heads (which meant he clearly knew there is an issue) and replaced the existing shower head, but of course this did nothing for the water pressure ;-). The toilet pot was not fixed to the floor with bolts, so a little bit wobbly when sitting on it. :-)). The sewage pipe was glued together with silicone sealant. The drain stank of sewage. So we continuously had to pour water in it. We had only two rolls of toilet paper for 6 days. Also there was only one towel per person. So of course we had to ask for new ones after a few days. Which felt really uncomfortable. The light in the bathroom was simply dangerous. Open wires, without any insulation. Danger of short circuit when too wet inside. The front door was interesting: The lock was missing some screws, thus was not fixed properly (i.e. was loosely hanging).This meant the door could only be locked from the outside. We tried to lock the doors from the inside.

I would go back if I would be in Saranda again.

It's a nice place inside. Big enough and far enough from the beach in order to not be bothered by the all day and night party. Close enough to the Port if someone would like to go to Corfu as we did. The owner does not speak English, but is kind and we did not have anything to discuss with him, so lack of common language wasn't an issue for us. It was a big plus that the place has parking! Go for the parking, otherwise one can be in trouble finding empty spaces on the streets.

One has to climb the streets from the beach, but in turn is away from the noise. The streets are very crowded and tight, so if you don't consider yourself a prolific driver or have a bigger car, you'll have nightmares. This isn't against the accommodation, that was flawless, but one should be aware of the issue of Saranda. (pretty much the whole city has the same issue.)

Great location and even better staff!

I really liked the location, very close to the centre/sea. The staff also was amazing, very caring and always available. The property was huge and it has everything we needed (AC, terrace with spaces to dry wet clothes and a little kitchen).

The AC leaked a lot of water; it wasn’t that much cleaned and the shower pressure was a little weak.

Exceptional

Honestly, Elena is one of the best accommodations I have stayed in in my entire life, the area is wonderful, ideal for resting, very close to supermarkets and the sea, also restaurants and with easy access to buses. the hosts are excellent, they helped us throughout the stay in everything. Comfortable beds, perfect bathroom, everything very clean. air conditioning, space, balcony, the best of Saranda 10/10

Great experience, amazing hosts

The owners are very welcoming and eager to make sure that everything fits your needs. The place was sparkling clean and it had all the amenities which are mentioned in the listing. This place is a 10/5 and I cannot recommend it enough, if you plan on visiting Sarande this is must book place.

Superb

Super cheap place, close to the city Center. It is very simple but for the price it was actually stunning! The hosts don’t speak English but they are so kind and they try their best to help. They even washed my clothes!

The basic things were super clean, like the towel and bed sheets, the dishes were kind dirty. Apart from that, nothing bad to add

A good choice for undemanding travelers

Clean sheets and towels, the fridge was OK, a large room, a balcony with a wonderful sea view. The apartment is a good distance from the center and close to the sea - the public beach is amazing.

The bathroom was horrible, the toilet was leaking and there was standing water on the floor. There were few dishes in the kitchen, only 1 pot. Tea cups only on request. The owner did not speak English. Weak WiFi.

Great stay!

The place is really nice and has everything you need! The gentleman is super friendly eventho he doesn't speak much English. Comfy beds and pillows too. The place is also a bit uphill so be ready!

This is not particularly something we didn't like, it's just the Internet wasn't very good which happens in a lot of places in Albania, but didn't affect our stay!

appartements are situated on the hills and it’s not very easy to go there when it’s very hot. also all this stairs to the 4th floor.

the property was nice and simple, no located to far from the city. all the amenities were there. the Wifi wasn’t always working but it was better than nothing! room was clean. the owner didn’t speak much English so getting into the property was a bit difficult because there is no actual check in just a guy to open up

it was ok. owner really needs a sign to identify the place. finding it was incredibly frustrating.

very hard to find. no sign outside. wandered around for 25 min trying to find the place. also although it showed I was connected to Wi-Fi there was no Wi-Fi service throughout my 3 day stay. which I needed so quite inconvenient. after you shower the bathroom floor Willy be wet for many hours. so when you go to use the bathroom you’ll walk into standing water.

Decent for a really short stay. Balcony was nice.

The host didn't speak proper english we had trouble communicating. The water heater in the bathroom wasn't on. The shower drain was clogged up and we lost time between showers for the water to drain. The bed for the 5th person was really small.

Exceptional

We liked it was very clean and the hosts are extraordinary hospitable. We felt welcomed and we sincerely want to come back as soon as possible. We are looking forward for our next holiday, it will be a pleasure to encounter our hosts once again. The accommodation is without doubt family friendly and also couple friendly and also holiday friendly.

Not so good that they have check out time so soon, it doesn't let you rest. They woke me up to kick me out of the place, I don't understand why this checkout timetable.

Good place.

The place is clean and the bathroom is good. The beds are very comfortable. The host is very nice and helpful.

The apartment was not as advertised. We booked a place with 2 separate rooms, but we had a place with one room and the other 2 single beds were placed in the living room which was not very practical for privacy.
