Apartment August 11

Flat is very central. No need to use any kind of transportation. Neighborhood is safe and quite.There are every kind of furnitures which you will need. Everything is new and clean. 24 hours hot water. It is close to many supermarkets and shops. Also close to main train and bus station. Internet is enough fast and works well.

Even i can not remember what I did not like. All was quite well.

Unfinished project, very old pillows, the toilet door hasn't got a lock and it is not providing privacy.

The one-bedroom apartment within walking distance to the metro hub Serdika. The building is old (year 1926 according to inscription on the floor and looks like stayed without intervention ever since) but inside the apartment is renovated with new furniture and interesting design. The bedroom spacious enough, with flat-screen TV (some English programs available, not just Bulgarian). Kitchen equipped with most necessary things, some pots, frying pan, tableware etc. The house has own yard for parking. Electric anti-mosquito device was useful. A nice bonus was to leave luggage after check-out in the nearby family hotel (Pop Bogomil). The untypically arranged sink in the bathroom as mentioned in other opinions (between the toilet and the shower - must see to understand ;-) wasn't actually disturbing - rather inspiring in terms of space management. Recommended for stay in Sofia downtown, also for a couple.

A second fan during the hot summer days, to use in the kitchen would be useful. Also a couple of forks and tea spoons.

The staff employed by the owner is as friendly as can be. The location is good, not too far from the center, although in an old, slightly run-down neighborhood of Sofia. Paid parking lots can be found nearby

Taking a shower on a cold autumn day in this apartment is a rather complicated thing. There is no air conditioning in the apartment. There are no doors between rooms. The heating is central and in early autumn, although cold, there is still no heating. So guests must be freezing after a bath. Guests must make their own bed with the sheets and blankets (which are simply placed on the bed). There is a leak under the bathroom sink. Things in this apartment have been going bad for a long time, but the owners don't seem to care...
