Superb

Very nice apartment in a very quiet area. The place is well equiped, with everything you would normally need in a self-catering accommodation. The landlord, Herr Droste-Lowesmeier lives on site. He is very friendly and he very kindly picked me up from the station in Husum. (It would have been a long 30-minute walk with luggage). Husum is a good base to explore Schleswig-Holstein, as it is picturesque and there are good train connections to lots of interesting places, like Sylt, Flensburg, Kiel, St. Peter Ording, and Friedrichstadt, as well as Hamburg, which is 2 hours away on the train.

Nette kleine Wohnung gut ausgestattet und sehr ruhig gelegen, dennoch alles schnell erreichbar, wir konnten unsere Fahrräder im Carport unterstellen.Sehr nette Vermieter.

Wunderbar erholsamer Ort, genialer Gastgeber!

Unser Aufenthalt hätte nicht besser sein können! Herr Droste-Leiwesmeier hat uns nach der Buchung angerufen und uns Tipps gegeben, etwas, das ich in all den Jahren, in denen ich über Booking.com gebucht habe, noch nie erlebt habe. Er war auch so freundlich, uns abends nach einer langen Fahrt vom Bahnhof abzuholen und am Ende wieder dorthin zu bringen. Auch während der Woche war er immer bereit, uns mit allem Möglichen zu helfen. Zur Begrüssung stand schon ein Prosecco bereit mit Knabbergebäck. Die Wohnung war super gemütlich, top eingerichtet und die Betten sehr bequem, mit tollen Kissen und Bettdecken. Auch die Küche war bestens ausgestattet. Wir haben die Ruhe in der Umgebung genossen, die Vögel vor dem Haus, besonders die im Baum, der direkt vor dem Küchentisch stand. Herr Droste-Leiwesmeier hat uns auch vor Ort mit Tipps versorgt und so haben wir hervorragende Plätze zur Vogelbeobachtung besucht. Ein ganz, ganz herzliches Dankeschön, die 5 Tage waren super, wir haben sie sehr genossen und können einen Aufenthalt im Haus Droste nur wärmstens empfehlen!
