Awesome location! We found the condo to be beautiful, clean, well equipped…..exactly as advertised. Definitely would recommend this property for a great, relaxing vacation.

Pelican’s Cove is our favorite place to stay in IRB. This stay was especially nice due the unit we stayed in having absolutely everything we needed from well equipped kitchen and ample towels and linens to plenty of chairs for the beach. We loved spending time on the porch and the reclining furniture inside was a bonus on the few days we couldn’t be outside. Beds were very comfortable. I can’t say enough about Patricia,the owner. She is a very gracious lady and is very responsive to any questions. Can’t wait to come back

We were disappointed with our stay in this condo. We got off on the wrong foot with the host before we arrived. When our airline changed our arrival time to early morning (9:00 am) we requested an early check-in. (Normal check-in was 3:00pm) We understand that accommodating an early check-in can be difficult. In this case however, the prior tenant vacated the place the day before our arrival. The host said she would call us as soon as the cleaners finished and that it would be after lunch. She called at 2:48. We just feel she could have tried a little harder to accommodate a guest that just dropped over 4K on her rental.
We were also disappointed the condition of the condo. For example, both the ceramic tile surround and the porcelain on the guest bathtub were both badly chipped and cracked with debris falling into the bath water (very dangerous). I cut myself on the sharp edge of the medicine mirror. There was an adequate supply of nice silverware, glasses, and dishes. However, pots, pans, and cookware were old and in poor condition. My wife called the old non-stick frypan “disgusting” and would not even use it. The toaster was filthy and required a good cleaning before use. The bar height wood dining set was uncomfortable as were the PVC chairs on the patio. Also, the lock on the patio door was broken, which the owner was aware of but did not let us know. The place was reasonably tidy but not clean by our standards. For example, the glass patio doors were smeary and there was a thick layer of dust on the fire sprinkler head in the kitchen.
We could go on and on but don’t want to write a book. We have stayed in several VRBO rentals over the years. This is the first time we have ever written a negative review. This was not one of the better experiences.
