About this house rental
Our Crested Butte home offers breathtaking views from its location across from Crested Butte Mountain, allowing you to watch all of the happenings at the mountain base from your own private retreat. Located a short 5 minute downhill walk to the bus stop and 10 minutes downhill to the mountain base, our home boasts five bedrooms, allowing up to 11 people to sleep comfortably, while four full bathrooms ensure that you never have to share a bathroom with more than two other people.
Our home provides a private getaway for friends, families, couples and anyone else who wants to stay close to the mountain base. The free shuttle bus stop is just a short 5 minute downhill walk (it runs every hour in the winter), and the lifts, restaurants, and shops at the base area are just 10 minutes downhill walk from the front door.
Our home is fully furnished to ensure that you and your family/friends can spend your time enjoying Crested Butte rather than worrying about your lodging. Here are just a few awesome things about our home:

-Less than 10 minutes walk to the mountain base and free shuttle bus to the town of Crested Butte.
- Unparalleled views of Crested Butte Mountain, Whetstone Mountain, and down valley. There is absolutely no better place in Crested Butte to enjoy the mountain scenery.
- Our home boasts four private bedrooms plus an overflow sleeping area adjacent to the media room, and four full bathrooms, ensuring that you never have to share a bathroom with more than two other people.
- Large open concept living area with multiple seating areas to ensure that there is plenty of room for everyone in your group to relax.
-Wireless high-speed internet throughout the house and three TVs with media streaming capabilities.
-Dedicated home office to allow you to tend to work matters while on vacation.
-Two-bed loft in the media room which makes a perfect place for the kids (or kids at heart) to stay.
- Plenty of space for up to 4 vehicles to park outside the house. Due to the additional mud, dirt and mess that comes with living in the mountains where dirt roads and snow are the norm, we ask that you please park your vehicles outside to avoid creating a mess in the garage. If you would like to park in the garage, however, we will automatically add a $150 fee to your booking to account for the additional cleaning required.

The base nightly rental rates shown are for up to 5 guests staying in our home. For each additional guest above 5, there is a $45 per guest, per night, fee charged. This fee is to offset the additional cleaning and wear and tear that occurs with larger groups, and to help ensure that smaller groups are not paying substantially more per person than larger groups.
We like to speak with every guest before their stay to ensure that we are able to meet all of your expectations. Our property manager will greet you in person on arrival to explain how things work and answer any questions you may have.

This home was spectacular in every way, from the stunning view, to exquisite design details, to the ample space for 6 adults. The kitchen had all the accoutrements for cooking elaborate meals, even a pie. The host was wonderful in his ongoing communication with us. I think the home was even more beautiful than the photos.

This location is perfect for a getaway to enjoy the mountains. The views are unbeatable. Location is perfect for trails and to stay away from the bustle of downtown. House was super clean. We cooked all of our dinners in the kitchen. We will definitely come back to stay here again. Highly recommend.

Best view of any mountain house we have stayed and just one block away there is a 360 view as good as most hikes.
There were 9 of us-4 adults and 5 teenagers/children. The house lay out was perfect for the kids-really liked the office/bedroom and the game/bedroom and the loft.
The hosts were very responsive to any questions before and during the stay.
Close to Crested Butte and most hikes.

Our early June visit did not disappoint! The home is very spacious and well appointed to accommodate everyone’s needs. Great access to town as well as a perfect launch for multiple hikes when we had downtime from wedding activities.
The owners provided detailed information in a printed book and also with correspondence in advance. In addition to check in/check out guidance, they provided valuable recommendations for restaurants and activities as well as contacts for local transportation services.
We lacked for nothing during our stay and only wish it could have been longer!
