This was possibly one of the most beautiful locations I have stayed in my entire life. The cottage was dated but clean and had all facilities in place. It is located on the golf course at the GRVL and we are literally staying in between the holes at the golf course. When we step out of the property there are deers, zebras and warthogs passing by in front of us at the cottage.
While we were at the cottage there was a national grid failure and the electricity has gone for a while and there was no power back up for the cottage where as the villas at the GRVL had power backup so we were in darkness and had to manage with emergency lights. Though there was a power outage the staff there was extremely cooperative - especially Jennifer who helped run around to make alternate arrangements for a room and extra backup lights.

Cottage itself is spacious and comfortable if a little basic. Emma our housekeeper was wonderful. Quiet, peaceful location.
Whilst we had access to the Golf Resort facilities we weren’t considered residents so we had to pay for use of the pool ($11 per person for one hour I think, extortionate!). The restaurant was affordable and the food good, but service was painfully slow even when we were the only ones there.

The Location
The fact that there is NO Swimming pool yet you have indicated swimming pool available, we had to use the one at the hotel and worse still an extra cost of 1000 per adult and 500 per child.... A total of Kes 3500 a day for 3 days which should have been part of the package. We felt cheated there and robbed of our money.
