Soleil House

Great room. Fantastic service by the staff. The included breakfast every morning was fantastic, fried eggs, breadroll, (or choice of pho) spring rolls and fruit platter. For the price, the room was perfect. They also arranged easy motorbike rent which was problem free.

Hot water took a while to get warm. But it was only a minor issue.

The rooms were nice, clean and big. The same with the bathrooms.

Lack of night lamps, the only light was on the ceiling and it was very bright. No electric sockets in the bathroom.

Great location, within walking distance of all bars & restaurants. Walkable to the Imperial city & along the river. The rooms (we stayed in 2) were spacious, had aircon & a ceiling fan. The shower was hot & good pressure. Staff were very friendly, My looked after us very well. The WiFi was intermittent in both our rooms, on floor 2 & 4 but it was good downstairs in the café. The coffee & breakfast was fresh & simple, choice of eggs & a baguette plus fruit. We had a stocked fridge in both our rooms which was handy for water or drinks if you wanted them. The bedding was lovely and clean and soft. We had our laundry done & it was so quick and smelled amazing. A very nice chilled place to base yourself in Huê, definitely recommend.

Intermittent WiFi but not a big issue.

The actual hotel is very average, you get what you pay for! We had a king room which was a good size but was an internal room so only had a window to the corridor which meant there wasn’t much natural day light. The location is not bad about 25 minutes to the main walking street, 15 minutes to the big shopping centre. The absolute stand out was the staff, they are so kind and welcoming and did everything they could to support us! Khuong was amazing, she helped us plan our day, gave us a map of the city, arranged a private tour for us to see the main attractions. She was there is we needed anything. Cannot thank her enough for her help.

The breakfast options are very limited, it is eggs three ways or instant noodles so if you are looking for more choice then there isn’t much. The hotel could also really do with a public shower, we had to check out but didn’t get our sleeper train until the evening and really wanted a shower before we left, a couple also arrived when we checked out and they couldn’t check into the room which wasn’t an issue but they wanted a shower as well due to the long travel and all that was available was the toilet hose. Or allow for a designated room for guests to shower.
