House of Nissus Hostel

Great staff and owners and unique atmosphere, a very nice private house converted into a hostel, set in a calm spot a bit out of the tourist-packed areas, and very close to the best beach, shops and restaurants, bus stops etc

The social aspect of the hostel was amazing and how friendly everyone was. The feeling throughout the hostel during my entire stay felt like a family. George, lucia, Johny and all the volunteers are amazing people and make the stay. The set up of the hostel was the best I’ve seen throughout my entire trip so far. Definitely recommend staying here if your visiting Ayia napa

There was nothing that I didn’t like about my stay here it was amazing.

The atmosphere at the hostel was absolutely fantastic, and the people you meet from the moment you arrive until the very end are incredibly kind and supportive. Although the location is a bit removed from the bustling hotspots, if you're up for a little walking, you won’t mind at all. Every sign in the hostel is thoughtfully placed, helping to uphold the rules and ensure everyone can enjoy a peaceful stay. There are designated boxes for your food, a communal kitchen for cooking, and an overall vibe filled with good-hearted individuals. Plus, there’s a super-friendly dog that’s always around; it quickly became a beloved part of the experience!

The location is not ideally close to other areas of Ayia Napa unless you travel by rental car, quad, or scooter. There was no mention that a dog permanently stays at the hotel. She goes everywhere the guests go, except the bedrooms, but that also means for people with dog allergies, there are hairs everywhere.
