Exceptional

Stayed for two evenings to attend a family wedding at the hall so great location! Good communication with the reception team with reacted to checking in (Covid restrictions) with out of hours numbers of we had a problem.

Disappointed as the experience didn’t live up to the expectations.

The initial prospect was good

However the lighting was poor. The cleanliness of the room wasn’t brilliant. It could have done with a luggage rack, a full length mirror in the room not in the cupboard. A shelf in the bathroom and a shower cap. The website boasted a cafe/ restaurant however it closed at 5! No information was available about where else to eat in the village except driving to Lincoln!

Nice place to stay, but they could be more helpful.

Room was lovely, very smart decor and comfortable - can't fault it.

We got there quite late at night, which was our own fault. But finding the room itself was very difficult. There was signage for everything except the actual accommodation, and no sign of any staff to help, no answer to phone calls (we were late but within the check-in window)... I actually stumbled across the room on foot after we drove around the estate three times! We had a note to leave the room key in a non-existent lock box when we left - I queried this in the morning, and the staff just didn't want to know.

Exceptional

All of the staff were incredible, the grounds were beautiful. The room was so comfy and relaxing. Was beautiful being up for Christmas as we woke every morning to the beautiful smell of all the Christmas trees being sold outside. The shops, cafe and restaurant located within the grounds were wonderful and all staff were so friendly. Ideal location as only took 15 minutes to get to city centre. Will definitely be returning. X
