Stylish modern Mews house in central St Leonards

Fabulous little mews house in St Lens. It's a really great little conversion. Everything you could possibly need for a few days away has been thought of. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. Bright and airy lounge with patio doors. Nice bathroom with a bath and shower. Doug has done a great job! The location is very handy for Warrior Square train station. The sea is a 3 minute walk the other way down the hill. Plenty of places to eat, drink and shops nearby. We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could stay longer. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing that we didn't like. When we first arrived I was bit apprehensive as the archway you turn under to get to the property is a bit tatty, but the property itself is perfect. People with mobility issues might find the spiral staircase difficult to negotiate, but its clear from the photos that the property has a spiral staircase and we loved it. The seagulls start seagulling very early , so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs, but you are near the sea so that comes with the territory.

Was a great space and very comfortable. Also loved the location so near the beach, the station and variety of good restaurants and shops. And a lovely walk to old Hastings too.

We had a little trouble opening the lock box - but was a very minor issue and could have just been our fingers.

The house is very close to the sea front and is incredibly clean and comfortable

Needs blackout curtains in the bedroom and fix the velex skylight blind in other bedroom to keep the bedrooms darker for longer

We weren't expecting breakfast. We really enjoyed the location. Plenty of things to do with good weather, a good prom.

We were very surprised to see so much food left by previous persons. Not properly wrapped and no idea how long it had been there? The kitchen area was pleasant but not fully equipped for self catering if you had your meals there. It would have helped to have re-iterated there was no washing machine and complete freezer as the weather was extremely hot. There was however a freezing compartment in the fridge. took a while to get use to no windows only roof lights, but they were good apart from the sea gulls! Car parking not for the faint hearted, and the open space is for cars, not for sitting out!
