NW Austin house F1, ACL, perfection

Perfect and will stay here again! We stay at Vrbos often, this one takes the cake. Is it hgtv worthy? No. But it is hands down the one place where we’ve been able to walk in the door, everything works, nothing is broken, and there is everything we need and expect for a home away from home. Access/Security: easiest Vrbo access I’ve encountered. Keypad was active, code worked, and there are 2 deadbolts on every door. Area: this is a beautiful and safe residential neighborhood, with a great park/playground 5 minute walk away. H‑E‑B is 6 minute drive (bring bags, there are some in the pantry!). Furnishings: the house is not a designer home by any means, and it’s are a little worn (but they make the place cozy), the furniture is all in great condition, comfortable beds, and clean sofa. Also several cozy throw blankets! Kitchen: so well equipped, including dish soap, cling wrap, etc. Coffee maker, plenty of pans, dishes, silverware, etc. nothing is lacking for preparing full meals! (Some plastic cups for kids might be helpful, but we did fine being careful with the glass ones). There is even a long iPhone charging cable in the kitchen! Bathrooms: clean and well kept. Hot water plentiful, and strong water pressure! Towels clean, soft, and plenty of them. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided in shower. Bedrooms: there’s a plug and a light by each bedside, perfect for charging phones and reading before bed. Beds are comfy, albeit a bit worn in. Windows all open easily for a lovely cross breeze. Amenities: appreciated that there is cable, Netflix, a selection of books (for kids and adults), and card games. We didn’t make use of the washer and dryer, but it’s great to have it available.

The house, yard and neighborhood were great! We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we are in Austin.

It’s our second time staying here and we love this home. Great location, relaxed small backyard and comfortable beds. It has one of the most usefully outfitted kitchens for a rental, a pleasant surprise since we were there for Thanksgiving. Communication with the host was quick and easy. Though not a “luxury resort” it is clean and attractive. It fit our needs perfectly.

This is a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. Had all that we needed for a good time with family. The host was responsive and consciencious of our needs. HIghly recommend!

I moved with my 80+ yr old parents into the property for 6 weeks while their house was being renovated. The hosts were wonderful to work with & responded quickly whenever I messaged them. They even allowed us to walk the property prior to booking to make sure it would meet our needs. The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of cooking pans and utensils. I cooked quite a bit and the oven works great. The refrigerator, freezer, and pantry were all well stocked. And they even had dog bowls and a bed for the dog. Our dog loved the bed and the backyard. I highly recommend this property for any stay — whether it is just a weekend or longer. I’ve stayed at quite a few short term rentals and this had more amenities than most. I just really appreciate the hosts for going out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.

Beautiful, clean, peaceful neighborhood. Gorgeous house with all you could need. Super comfy bedding and fantastic shower. Family and pets all loved it. Secure backyard for the doggies. Hosts were wonderful and even let us extend our stay a few more days.

Super easy to book and communicate with property manager. The property was extremely clean and had thoughtful amenities. Great for folks with dogs!

Our stay at this property was very enjoyable. The neighborhood was quiet and the location was central to area attractions such as The Domain, Zilker Botanic Gardens, Lake Travis, and SoCo. The home was tastefully decorated and the 2 full bathrooms made getting ready for the day much more efficient. The kitchen had all the essentials for preparing and serving a meal, although we ate out most meals. The home was well maintained. The fenced backyard was nice for our 2 dogs. We would definitely recommend this property.

This rental was well outfitted with anything you might need. I was so happy there was laundry facilities in the garage.

I wish this house has covered patio, it will be more enjoyable if it has covered patio. Our days in Austin was rained out. Property location was perfect for our visit. I will definitely staying there again

This place was perfect for us transitioning from out of state to Texas. Small and cozy, dog friendly, and a convenient location. This area is a foodies paradise. There are so many great restaurants to choose from. We did food delivery and Instacart often and it worked out well, even though it has a well appointed kitchen. Thanks for hosting us!! The beds were comfy too.

Summarizing this home is that it was a pleasurable and easy place to stay. Very clean, even Lysol at the door! The pictures are accurate but the open living/dining/kitchen area makes it seem bigger. The beds are comfortable, the backyard is fully fenced for dogs andChris quickly answered any questions we had.

Nice neighborhood. Appropriate for our needs and our dog. Our grandchildren came over one morning and we walked through the neighborhood.

Stayed here 2 weeks. Everything was impeccably clean, up to date, nice extras in kitchen like staples, comfortable beds, fast wifi. We just loved Rattan Springs park within a couple of blocks for walking along the creek drainage area. Saw lots of wildlife, mostly herons, one coyote, beautiful live oaks, and everyone was very friendly and respectful of social distancing for COVID. Nice extra touches for our dog - dog bed in master, small back yard with patio and pooper scooper waste can. My husband was able to work from here while I was caring for a sick daughter who lives nearby. And, if you are vacationing, easy to access Austin sights while staying in quiet neighborhood.

This is a great place to explore the Austin area. Very clean, in a nice neighborhood with a park and walking paths close by. Chris is very responsive and helpful.

I stayed at the house with my siblings for a sibling weekend reunion. It was perfect for our needs, as it was very clean and comfortable. The owner was very easy to work with.

Home was comfortable and convenient for what we needed to do. Very walkable neighborhood with plenty of green space to walk our two Golden’s. That’s what takes it from 3 to 4 stars.

Very comfortable and clean. House had a bunch of nice little extras that you might not think about when travelling (ie. usb and plug outlets). Was appropriately stocked. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure in showers was good. Nice neighborhood and convenient to grocery, stores and food. Made guests feel welcome and had a few essential items stocked for use (helps if not able to get to grocery before arrival) Felt like owners took pride in the house, not just a rental. Cons: Could use a few more cups, silverware and dishes Was a very cute and quaint house which met all the needs, but there wasn't lots of extra space.

Located in a quiet subdivision close to everything you need. Just minutes from downtown Austin. Hosts had all the needed amenities. We give it 5 stars and would definitely return if we head back to Austin!

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, open concept house. The kitchen had a good supply of cooking/baking supplies. We traveled with our dog and found the nearby park a real bonus. We enjoyed the natural wildlife at the park -- egrets, red shouldered hawks, blue jays plus lots of friendly people with their dogs.

Clean, neat, orderly 3 bedroom was perfect as a temporary home during our move to the Austin area. Chris was extremely responsive to all questions and requests. Just perfect.
