Beautiful home, plenty of space for all. Property manager was present and there in a minutes notice to address any needs or issues. Location is close to all.

Place was great for beach trips as well as just hanging out on the deck! Comfortably fit several families.

Wonderful house!! Perfect for family of 12! It’s extremely well equipped and comfortable. We particularly loved relaxing on the huge porch! Also great that tfw house is so close to the beach, restaurants,etc

I rented this property for me and my bridesmaids to stay in during my wedding weekend in Newport while my husband rented another home around the block for him and his groomsmen. I live in Rhode Island and have really enjoyed renting houses when I visit Newport/Middletown rather than booking hotel rooms. The house and the location were as advertised and the bedrooms, common spaces, and bathrooms worked well for my group and were clean and well decorated. However, the listing should be changed from “all guests must park in the driveway” to “anyone who comes to the house ever must never put their car anywhere but the driveway or risk having the police called.” All of my guests parked in the driveway. However, we ran into trouble the morning of my wedding when my hair stylists parked their cars on our side of the street in front of the house. Apparently, despite a lack of signage, there is no street parking day or night (whereas in Newport there only isn’t overnight parking). The neighbor across the street, who stayed on his lawn staring at us, called the cops as a result. The cops told us that they get called to this property every week by the neighbor who clearly is upset that there is a rental property on his street. The cops threatened to ticket all of us which greatly added to the stress of the day. Luckily, since my husband’s rental was nearby, we just moved the cars to his house. To add insult to injury, we had sandwiches delivered to the house that afternoon. The delivery man was parked for under 2 minutes but the neighbors called the cops again who threatened to ticket everyone if they for called again. However, no cops were called when an Amazon truck parked in front of our rental to deliver a package to this neighbor and idled for 15 minutes. If I had known the extent of this issue, I would have planned to park more cars at my husband’s property and, thus, advised the hair dressers to park in the driveway initially. This would have avoided the whole issue and would have allowed me to have significantly less stress on my wedding day. I know its not “pretty” to clearly advertise information like this in your listing but if the extent of the rules and situation had been made absolutely clear, I would have been able to entirely avoid this unfortunate situation.
