About this house rental
Three minute walk from downtown Rockland, beach and boardwalk. Large penthouse master bedroom suite (20’ x 16’) with full bath, private balcony, and sweeping views of Penobscot Bay. Second floor has large living room (16.5’ x 13.5’), full bath, bedroom or office, and eat-in kitchen with outside deck. Granite counters, dishwasher, washer/dryer, air conditioning, high speed wifi. Private entryway with room for bicycles. Two off-street parking spots. All utilities included. No pets.

We enjoyed our stay at this property, which is a stone's throw from downtown Rockland, the beach, several restaurants, and a walking path along the water. The apartment, as advertised, is clean and nicely kept with all of the essential furnishings. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked with basic supplies. There are beautiful water views from the top balcony. The owner was helpful and responsive, answering all of our questions and addressing any concerns immediately. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to being back!

The owner was attentive and approachable even long before our trip, answering all of our questions and concerns. The property was found to be as advertised and perfectly clean. The apartment is spacious and ideal for extended stay, but it does have two sets of indoor long staircases, (in addition to front porch steps,) to climb in order to reach the master bedroom. The living room, dining room, second bedroom and bath and kitchen are on the second level and are furnished adequately, although in my opinion, the bedding could be much improved with a simple bed replacement. All in all, this apartment is a pleasing bargain, but best for “hearty legs.” We hope to book it again! Jim Barfield
