About this cabin rental
Relax in the serene Adirondack Mountains and be close enough to all the activities. The Lakeside at Loon Lake is only 15 minutes from Lake George Village and 15 minutes from the Gore Mountain Ski Area and Mountain Biking Center. We are an affordable, family property located directly across the street from the Loon Lake Public Beach, water fall and boat launch. Our accommodations consist of non-smoking self catering cabins, 2 suites in a duplex and the Loon House (our large main house). Amenities on site are shared: a rowboat, canoe, volleyball, horseshoes, and a play ground for children. All units have their own picnic table & gas grill plus firepit. The village of Chestertown is two miles from the property. The town has numerous unique shops, , an ice cream parlor, major grocery store, pharmacy, and too many to mention. Within a ten mile radius, you can experience many types of dinning. Self-Catering means we supply your home for your stay while you supply everything else. Sorry, there is no housekeeping during your stay. Maximum Occupancy 6 people (includes adults & children). NO EXCEPTIONS! There are additional units on the property if your group is larger and needs overflow housing.

We came for a wedding and it was just what we needed. It was a perfect location to Lake George. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back.

It was a nice little cabin but lacked windows in back of cabin but great lighting. Didn't like that for fire pit you sat in parking lot but they did make a little section with stone, flowers, and picnic table but section could be a little bigger so you can fit 4 better around fire pit. Plenty of fire wood. Beach is across road which is nice but road can be busy so be careful when crossing. Back of cabin has volley ball net and a little playground. Also horse shoes. Should maybe plant flowers back there too and a nice little sitting area just a suggestion. Great price for getting cabin 4 the week full kitchen. Just wish was on the lake and not have to cross a road. Boat launch across street was great as super close and convenient. Property manager always accessible by text. Wish essentials like tp and paper towels garbage bags were on site but we knew going there we needed to bring. They did have these items there 2 get you started which i appreciated. Keeps cost down I am sure. Needs one more AC but note most cabins had 2 ours only had one. I'm sure property manager will update as the place was clean no trash around and beautiful flowers arrangements up front by all the cabins and property manager is very nice.
