About this house rental
This house has open views of the bay from the front bedrooms and balcony, where you can watch the sunset and green flash. Have a relaxing cocktail or a refreshing ice tea or soda. Have a cup of morning coffee or tea. From the living/ dinning areas you have open views of the canal and beyond, the back patio is screened in and is a great place to also enjoy drinks, dinner or a book.
Under the home is a large open space with BBQ grill and patio table with chairs. A tiki hut with chairs to relax and take in the calm relaxation of the Keys. Walk along the dock watch the fish, birds, natures creatures.
Or just hang out and swim in the canal, lay out in a lounge chair catch some sun shine, or do absolutely nothing.
This house is a CBS house has hurricane shutters, that can be open or closed to your liking. Good cold A/C, an outside shower for rinsing off after a swim, snorkel in the canal, a boat ride day on the water. The seawall has a small reef at its base and lots of fish.. Manatees are common visitors to the canal they like a fresh drink of water. Right outside the inlet is a shallow reef, We are the 1st Canal from the bay, close to Tavernier cut for fast access to the ocean for diving fishing, snorkeling, having fun on the water.. Quiet area, with great neighbors.
Driveway can accommodate a 30-32 ft RV and Several cars.

We just had a great Summer in this very cozy canal home. The neighborhood is fantastic. We took our boatand enjoyed th ise of a convenient boat lift. We spent lots of time just swimming and paddle boarding in the canal. The sea life was amazing with occasional visits by a manatee family. It's on the Bay side, but has a very short boat ride to the ocean side through Tavernier Creek. We are even considering purchasing a vacation home in the neighborhood. Till then we would definitely re-rent this property again. Beautiful sunsets on the bay are spectacular. it's very easy to catch the "Keys Disease" while staying there, That's a good thing.

The high ceilings and open floor plan made the inside of this rental a pleasure. We were close to our favorite key beach at Harris park. The neighborhood was safe for walking round at any time with friendly neighbors and beautiful views. We rented kayaks from PTFK who delivered and picked them up right at the door. The dock was a perfect place to center our paddle trips around. We could swim off the dock and view manatees with our morning coffee. Even had a few dolphin drop by. The owners helped us with any troubles we had which were few. Our best rental in the keys so far. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back in the future.

This is our fourth rental in Hammer Point and we really enjoyed this house. House was very clean & well appointed. Everything was as described. The back yard was great and the canal was great for an afternoon dip. The Kitchen/great room was wonderful for the family to cook our catch & hang out with family & friends. Would have liked a TV in the master bedroom to catch up on the evening news, but other than that it was "perfect" nice neighbors also

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. We are long time Keys visitors and enjoy boating, diving and fishing and have stayed in the Keys regularly for more than 20 years and always rent homes or condos and this house was very clean and comfortable with lots of shade and a beautiful cool tiki hut area for relaxing next to the dock. The screen porch was nice for outdoor bug free evenings and watching the sunset out the balcony was very nice each night. We will definitely return on our next trip if available and the owners were so wonderful and easy to deal with . I left some items at the house and they were so kind to make sure i got them back and i sure appreciate that. The neighborhood is very nice and the next door neighbors on each side of us were so nice and friendly. We took a day trip down to Key West and returned the same day back for our last night for Sunset dinner at Lorelei's. It was a great time and we can't wait for our next visit! Thank you Penny and Danny! it was so great and relaxing to share your home for a little while.
