Belmare Hotel

Great location within walking distance to the beach. A very warm welcome from Nektaria, all the staff were friendly and helpful which made our stay feel special. A good selection for breakfast. We had a really relaxing stay.

The room was spacious and comfortable but the furnishings in room needed updating. Old mattress and towels,also the bathroom plumbing needed serious fixing! No drought beer ☹️ with a little investment this hotel would be fabulous place to stay.

All staff did for us an extra mile! Tou could not ask them what they couldn't sort out! All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They hospitality made our stay excellent 👌. The chef Dimitros cooked the breakfast as my friend asked for it. When i was unwell in the morning, and going out later, he came to me and gave me 2 bananas (as he knew i like them) because I didn't go for breakfast. It was so thoughtful of him! Nektaria was at the kitchen, at reception, and kinda everywhere doing her very best to make all the guests' holiday memorable. The location of the hotel was okay. Nice quiet area with few restaurants and shops, car and motor rental services, entertainment travel agent in walking distance. The bus stop is right next to the hotel. The hot tub was hot and ready on our arrival on our balcony. The swimming pool in the communal area was lovely! Changing colours at night, and the bar open until 23:00. Private parking was for me a big bonus! 😍 I never had a problem finding a space for the 9 seater van. Which made me so eased about parking the bigger vehicle. The evening receptionists always came to help me reverse it to the right spot 👌 😉

The description of the hotel on Booking.com was totally different, then what was available in reality. I have booked 3 twin rooms for 6 individual adults. On the website said, we are going to have 6 separate beds. 🛌 On arrival, after we paid everything, it turned out they do NOT have twin rooms in the whole buildings. I was showing my booking proofing i booked twin rooms! The receptionist communicated with management, and we did get a "free upgrade " to a family room with one double bed and one sofa bed and private(ish) pool. The sofa bed obviously wasn't as comfy as the normal bed, but my friend did put up with it. The tap was leaking the next morning. Which was fixed quickly. The location of the hotel was showing on Booking.com, like right on the beach ⛱️. When we got there we realised it's about 300 meters from the beach and didn't have straight access to the beach from their garden as it was advertised. The reason I booked this hotel is that i, though, has straight access to the beach. So, we had a few disappointments at the start of our holiday. I booked the rooms in February and we were travelling at the beginning of June. I asked to have our 3 rooms next to each other's. We ended up in 3 separate buildings and made us secluded from each other's. So there are things which could be improved 🤔 But overall we had a good holiday. Would i stay at this hotel again? Yes, with a discounted price. But the description on the rooms definitely needs to be corrected!

The property location was good with bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were more than helpful and friendly.

The pools both our swim up room and main pool were dirty and were not cleaned during our two night stay. The food would have been nice particularly the fish options had it been warm. Unfortunately each meal was cold on arrival in the restaurant.
