Tbilisi Center House

The second time I have stayed here. Central, but quiet location. Within walking distance of many sites. Great for a weekend, or a week at a stretch.

I really enjoyed the location of this place. Most attractions were in walking distance, and there were countless restaurants and coffee shops in the vacinity. The room itself is perfect for short stays, and was quiet at night even though the window looked out on to the street. All in all, it was a good base for the time I spent in Tbilisi.

It could be a good place to stay for longer trips if there were a washing machine in the unit, but this is not a major issue.

It’s in incredibly good location, everything is nearby. The host is friendly and responsive, the price is really good

The pictures are outdated, now many things are broken and walls are falling apart. It was cold when we arrived cause there is an electric heater, so I suggest turning this heater before guests arrival so the apartment can heat up. It’s quite loud from the street

The location and the price were the only good things about it.

The pictures on booking haven’t been updated basically since they built this room lol. It’s not first floor as stated, it is below ground and you get basically no natural light in + you hear people walking on the sidewalk. The sheets on the bed smelled nice and seemed to have been clean, but the entire place was falling apart. Wallpaper peeling off, mold around the shower and around the windows, if you plan to use the kitchen just forget it, everything in there seems to have seen for sure better days. There was even a jar of SOMETHING in the fridge (didn’t check what it was, but it’s disgusting to leave stuff there). The smell inside the apartment was very bad, literally no air flow and probably the mold had also played its part in this old, wet rag smell. The pillows also had a very particular smell and the mattresses were yellowed out & with mysterious stains. For one night if you’re really on a budget it’s ok, the water was hot and nice. We were leaving early and spent the evening in the city, so we basically were there just to sleep and shower. I would suggest you can pay a bit more and have a comfortable stay that feels clean and doesn’t let you go to sleep wondering if there’s bedbugs or not (there were not, but the state of the place made us check 1000x times). For the location its perfect, close to the metro and a lot of restaurants/bars, I think if the owner put some money and effort into it it would be a nice place to stay and they could increase the price a bit even. Now it just feels dirty and smelly. Ah, we had to buy our own toilet paper lol. 😂
