Scenic location RUINED by an untrustworthy host who kept my deposit

The view was pretty and the location near Monaco was okay. You need a method of transport though. Ubers don’t go there.

Unfortunately, the host pressured me into sending the deposit directly to her bank account, bypassing the platform. Despite multiple follow-ups, she has not returned the deposit. This was incredibly disappointing and dishonest. I would not recommend booking with this host due to lack of trust and transparency.

Great view, great pool, good location.

View, infinity pool, very friendly host, big balcony, fully equipped kitchen (incl. dishwasher), possibility to bring dog

Appartment a little old (e.g. sliding glass door to balcony needs repair). Bed situation not ideal (at least for couples). No air con - not a big problem for us mid of June, but if it would have been hotter outside we would have really missed it.

Shocked by the poor, uncomfortable condition of this place

the sea view was the best thing about this place. There is also a pool, which made our stay more pleasant. However the hostess seems to think that a pool/ sea view can make up for a n otherwise dirty apartment.

We don't recommend this place at all - we were vey shocked. My family and I stayed for 2 weeks, we were 5 people. Unfortunately we found the apartment is in a very poor condition: broken appliances (cupboard falling apart), no proper bedsheets or blankets, dirty & broken kitchen and glassware, broken AC & sunblind, very uncomfortable sleeping conditions (basically everyone sleeps in the same room as the kitchen) and overall poor cleanliness. There has been a very bad smell of foul eggs that came out of the sink, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. There were also ants in the kitchen. This apartment has not been properly cared for in years. Additionally to this, the hostess has been very unfriendly and unprofessional, oftentimes getting very emotional, arguing that she has many costs/ family issues and needs the money. For example, she demanded extra cash payment on arrival, which has not been mentioned in the description. Additionally to the wifi fee (5eur per day), she demanded a parking fee. (in our case, more than 200 eur) Thankfully booking.com helped us to handle this issue, but overall, our vacation was definitely overshadowed by the poor condition and discomfort of the apartment as well as the hostility of the host. (She appears to be friendly in the beginning, but once you point out a negative issue, she became very sour) We would not recommend going to this place if you are more than 2 people, and are staying for more than 1 night.

La vue sur mer. La grande terrasse, la grande piscine, indispensable pour les enfants ! La proximité avec Monaco et d'autres beaux sites comme Villefranche-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.
