Mahmoud et Ahmed sont des hôtes absolument exceptionnels, entièrement dévoués à faire de votre séjour une expérience inoubliable. Leur bienveillance est remarquable : Mahmoud nous préparait du thé chaque jour, et en seulement quelques jours, il est devenu bien plus qu’un hôte — un véritable ami pour la vie. Ce séjour a été bien plus qu’une simple escapade, il m’a profondément transformée. Ils donnent des conseils toujours pertinents, bienveillants et parfaitement adaptés à toutes les activités que vous souhaitez entreprendre. D’une gentillesse, d’un respect et d’une générosité rares, ils rendent chaque moment précieux. Le logement est encore plus spacieux que je ne l’imaginais, plein de charme, très propre et incroyablement calme. Le West Bank est, selon moi, le meilleur choix pour celles et ceux qui recherchent du calme, un environnement apaisant et particulièrement agréable, avec une végétation luxuriante, notamment entourée de bananiers — un vrai havre de paix. Le petit déjeuner est TRÈS généreux et varié ! Je recommande à 3000 % sans la moindre hésitation ! Will definetly be back ! ♥️🌄🛐

I stayed here for a couple of months and loved it - I would definitely like to come back! My favourite spot is the balcony overlooking a banana plantation - perfect for enjoying breakfast in the morning sunshine. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable, and having a pool is a lovely bonus. (It's not heated, so very bracing when you first get in, at least in winter, but lovely and refreshing.) The area is lovely with plenty of greenery and a village feel, but it's only about 10 minutes' walk to a busier area with fruit and veg shops, bakers, pharmacies and little supermarkets, etc. There are some great family-run restaurants only a few minutes walk away, as well as a very handy ATM at the Al Baeirat hotel. Ahmed is a fantastic host - reliable, straightforward and very hardworking. He lives near the apartment and I enjoyed meeting his lovely family. Any time any small issues came up in the apartment, as they inevitably will during a long stay, he got them resolved very quickly, and he was quick to respond to any questions. He was also very helpful in arranging transport and giving advice about the local area. I felt very safe staying here as a solo female traveller. Highly recommended for a long or short stay.

There's quite a lot of noise around the apartment but that's standard for Luxor, even on the quieter West Bank. Bring earplugs!
