My third visit as I passed back through Trebinje to the airport was just as good as the previous ones. Warm welcome as always from mum and George was able to organise transport to the airport so I didn't have to lose the last day of my trip to deal with that.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. When I decided to extend my stay for a second night after spending the day wine tasting in the area, they were happy to accommodate me. The owner’s mother even brought me a coffee after I checked in, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The location is excellent—just a 2-minute drive into town or about a 10-minute walk. Parking is available right in front of the apartment, and having a refrigerator was a nice convenience while traveling. The room is very basic with no frills, but the bed was comfortable enough and the price offered good value. Overall, this is a good budget option with genuinely warm, caring hosts in a convenient location. With a more thorough cleaning and a little extra attention to pest control, it would be an easy place to recommend.

The main area that needs improvement is cleanliness. There were cobwebs behind furniture, along the back of the bathroom door, and in several other places. There were also tons of drain flies in both the bathroom and bedroom, along with a few dead insects on the walls. I think a thorough deep cleaning and treating the drains would make a huge difference. One suggestion would also be to keep the apartment door closed whenever possible. On both days I stayed, it was left standing open, which seemed to allow mosquitoes inside. One thing that gave me pause was the bedding. I didn’t reach out to inquire about staying another night until about 3:30 pm. When I checked in around 7:15 pm, it appeared to be the same sheets and pillowcase I had used the previous night. I can’t say for certain whether they had been changed, but it did leave me wondering. It’s obviously fine because I stayed a second night but my concern is for whether or not they would have changed the bedding for a new guest when check-in is after 3pm? Fresh towels had been provided, so perhaps there was another explanation, but it’s something that stood out.

Advertisemnt says they have free wi-fi but there is no wi-fi, which is very bad, literally false advertising that should be sanctioned.
