“Island Breeze" 4 Bedroom, 2 bathroom beach cottage - walk to the Beach on St. Simons Island!
Real Escapes Properties is proud to offer you Island Breeze. This welcoming island property was originally built in 1929 and completely renovated in 1996. Enjoy the character and charm of a traditional beach home under the palms in a quiet in-demand neighborhood. With all the modern amenities, Island Breeze is great for families, golf getaways or girls' trips.
The great room is a fabulous open living/dining/kitchen space with a table seating 8-10 and a breakfast bar seating 4. Island Breeze also features a large rear deck with outdoor dining tables that seat 8 along with Adirondack chairs. The front screened porch with porch swing and rocking chairs is the perfect spot to relax. All rooms have warm bead board ceilings and overhead fans.
The great room has a TV, VCR/DVD, Wi-Fi (high speed internet) and Fire stick with Sling TV and additional streaming options. This large space opens through French doors to the rear deck. A full-sized stack washer/dryer and an outdoor gas grill are available for your use. There is a double security door tucked away that joins with “Lesser Breeze”.
This property is located a short walk from the ocean, and 1 mile to the pier and Village. It’s a quick walk to popular St. Simons restaurants such as The Crab Trap, Barrier Island, Echo, Crab Daddy’s, Fiddler’s, and King & Prince. Parking is available for up to four cars—two can be parked under the house out of the weather.

• Linens (bath towels & bed sheets) are provided along with a starter supply of toilet paper, soap, paper towels and trash bags. Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.

NOTE: There is an Amazon Fire stick attached to the TV. Instructions for using the provided app SlingTV are provided.

We enjoyed staying in this comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the beach. We liked that the bedrooms had a separate quiet space from the large open living/dining/kitchen area (you could even close a door on the hallway). Large covered parking area underneath gave us lots of room to park our bikes and beach toys. The sand shower with hot water was essential. The screen porch was lovely to sit on as well. Our only complaints were the check-in process involved stopping at a real estate office to pick up a key (never had to do that for a VRBO before) and the external locks were extremely fidgety to open/close. I even got locked out on the screen porch once because I was somehow able to open the door to go outside while it was still locked and shut it behind me. Over all though, fantastic rental.

Great house, accommodations, and location! Very clean and well organized house. Great location - close to public beach access and walking distance to outstanding restaurants.

This is a well taken care of historic home with great character. Parking was great and staff at rental office were very friendly and helpful. I rented the 4 bedroom portion of the home, but I having someone else rent the other portion of the home was no problem at all. No mutual entrances or common areas and we never really saw anyone. Even parking is separate. It was absolutely wonderful staying here. Only 3 blocks from the beach it was an easy walk for us even with beach chairs. Proximity to everything in St.Simons. This was our first big family trip, but we will absolutely return and rent this property again we absolutely loved it! Thank you so much!

Great accommodations! Pictures don’t do justice. Very high ceilings and open space in great room. Very clean, had good amenities. Only thing weird was the oven (which was brand new) was tricky. We used a couple of times and it was hard to get set. Suggest Leaving directions on how to set the oven temp.leaving directions on how to set the oven temp. Note unless you’re renting the entire property there is a small Separated but connected unit that may also be rented. You will share a common deck. The guest that stayed when we were there were super nice and we enjoyed their company. Super close to everything it’s truly fantastic -you run a big grocery trip at the beginning of the week drop your keys and walk or bike to everything there after! Highly recommend!
