About this house rental
Our home isn't designed to be a luxury hotel; it has 4 bedrooms (1 king-size, 3 queen-size) and two bathrooms. Three rooms have laminate floors; the master bedroom has bamboo flooring, and the kitchen, bathrooms, and living room are tiled. The cozy living room flows into the kitchen. There is a large dining table, and directly across from the kitchen is a small breakfast nook with a round table, four chairs, and a wonderful view. That’s where we usually sat for dinner outdoors, enjoying the view of the pool and the canal. The living room also features a 58-inch TV with all connectivity options. Internet access via cable or Wi-Fi is available. The pool is designed with a shallow-to-deep slope (1.85 m). This way, even non-swimmers can enjoy the water under supervision. All five of our children learned to swim here. The pool is equipped with solar heating and is turned on in time before your arrival. There is no boat access to the canal.
Beaches: In Cape Coral, there is a sandy beach, about 8 kilometers or a 10-minute drive away; Fort Myers Beach, across the bridges, is about 20 kilometers or a 20-minute drive away; Captiva Beach is fantastic for sunsets, etc.—about 40 kilometers away, roughly an hour’s drive, with wonderful views; be sure to bring plenty of sunscreen.
Shopping: Everything your heart desires is right here, whether it’s the Harley store in Fort Myers, the nearby Wal-Mart (open 24 hours), the outdoor market in Fort Myers, and so on.
Food: There’s something for every woman’s taste. I’d definitely recommend a visit to Rib City in Cape Coral—the ribs are so tender....

The house was perfect for us. It had all the accommodations of home. The manager immediately got back to me with questions I had. I plan on coming back to Cape Coral in the spring and hopefully this house will be available

We made a last minute decision to vacation in Florida and were fortunate to have found this place. It was in a quiet neighborhood and we were able to go for walks in the AM and felt very safe. The pool was a delight as it was in the sun most of the day and the shaded patio was great. The house met all our needs and the property manager was very responsive when we had a small issue. I would definitely rent this house again.

The grill is listed under amenities under Kitchen, which should be covered under the included cleaning fee. When the host whom lives close by, saw us grilling he text me "BTW BBQ Grill is not included in the departure cleaning" then kept part of the "refundable" security deposit. I asked for pictures of the dirty grill and was told there was grease and shrimp tails, but no picture was sent. He knew what we grilled because he watched is and was on the property multiple times. The house is not well maintained, there's chemicals on the ground next to the water heater in the garage, quite a few fans were dirty and bulbs burnt out, the vents were very dirty, the couch cushions were almost completely torn. I don't think they use the cleaning fee to professionally clean as stated which is concerning during these pandemic times. The beds were terrible, we bought air mattresses in order to be comfortable. The house is in a nice location and quiet neighborhood, so not bad if you need somewhere to crash, just be prepared to clean the house and lose part of the security deposit if you grill or who knows what else he will come up with. Unfortunately I can't upload pics or link to the pics I took of the house.
