This was a lovely apartment in a nice neighborhood, close to restaurants, shopping, the metro, a beautiful park and the Rosenborg Castle. The property owner was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay!

My husband, adult daughter, and I wanted a vacation rental in a good location in Copenhagen that provided enough room to spread out and rest during our Christmas vacation. This was perfect for us. We also enjoyed being able go cook and enjoy a few meals together. We also enjoyed a day at the art museum directly across the street!

The property has much character, in a lovely and good way. It is beautifully maintained. Coffee and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Metro, so easy to use, a few minutes walk. Beds were comfortable, rooms spotless, and our host was welcoming and most helpful. Right across the street from the Hirschsprung Museum. Parks all around. We wanted to experience Copenhagen and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Our host was always available by email and text both before and during our stay. Thank you to our gracious host.

Subjectively, this property is "old." Not broken or depressing. Just not Scandinavian chic. Just so you know if that sort of thing is important to you. Old furniture, exposed gas meters, wonky floor plan. Feels like you've entered into your great grandmother's 1930's apartment (with some upgrades in the 70s). Now objectively, this property is a steal. Best is the size of the place. You can absolutely, truly sleep five adults (two couples, one singleton) in their own bedrooms. No sleeping on the pull out couch. Full size dining area too. The location is very quiet and yet across the street from the SMK. You are in CPH without the traffic. Safe neighborhood. If you're not a walker, it is a bit of a hike to the nearest train/metro station (Oesterport is 800m, Norreport is 1100m). But both stations give you access to the whole country. The apartment is also on the first floor (2nd floor for Americans). So there are some (15?) stairs and no elevator. There is a bathtub (a rarity in Scandinavia!) but navigating it might be tricky as the sides are high. No other showering option exists. Niels lives on the premises so he is immediately available if need be. And proved to be both attentive and thorough as well as pleasant. He owns the apartment, so you're not renting from a corporation. Finally, the price can't be beat. Yes, it's old and not shiny. But for what you're paying, you'll not find a better opportunity.

There were three of us staying at this fabulous apartment. Copenhagen is on your doorstep. Although we bought Metro passes, we really didn't need them. Copenhagen is very walkable and walk we did. The neighborhood of the apartment is worth en entire day of walking and exploring. There are parks, lakes, gardens (Botanical), amazing restaurants, a small, but more than adequate supermarket, not to mention museums and palaces. And, the neighborhood, while so well located is also quiet. It was perfect for us. The flat owner is communicative and responsive. The flat is truly beautiful and you feel transported to another era with its high ceilings, period furniture and thick walls and windowsills. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well supplied and the shower excellent. The individual amongst us who picked this apartment really chose well. Oh, and it's close to Norreport Metro, train and bus station so you can get everywhere easily, including the airport. We took a side trip to Roskilde and the Viking Ship Museum which we highly recommend.
