Wonderful!

David was the epitome of a host! He met us, helped with our luggage and prepared and delivered a fabulous dinner of Bresse chicken with mushrooms and a delicious Chardonnay! The studio was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. We wanted a place that was quiet but located close to the city and its old town. Perfect! Highly recommend Les Saugeys!

Good location and lovely accommodation. David the host was very welcoming and gave recommendations on where to have an evening meal. Breakfast was good. We arrived in a heatwave so were very grateful for the air conditioning.

Property was in a very quiet residential area with parking right outside the door. The accommodation had everything needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was good and fresh, provided by the charming hosts who made us very welcome. Lovely stay.

Great for a stopover or even a few days of vacation

Very nice hosts. Easy parking at the street. Good restaurant (la cambuse) in walking distance. It is quiet. There is a nice terrace to sit (even though we couldn't use it because it was too cold in March). Comfy bed. Small but well equipped kitchen (you can also cook there). This was our third time in this place for an overnight stop and we would come a fourth time.

Only minor things could be improved (there was just enough toilet paper so some extra would be nice). The bathroom is quite small (but OK for us). All in all, we like it very much and will come again.

Burgundy break

Since le chalet is very small, we liked the outdoor area. The location for us was good, coming from Italy, a location near the route north was ideal. The shower was more spacious than some but low ceiling a little tight. Aurelie took the time to welcome us, which was nice.

Perfect for our overnight stop

Very nice hosts who speak English. We got fresh bread for breakfast in the morning. Cute and cosy room, perfect for our overbight stop on our way from Spain to Germany. Good parking situation. There are a few restaurants in walking distance (however, the pizzeria we wanted to go to was already sold out after 8pm. Be early for dinner!)

There is no window to look outside. Just a door with opal glass. That would bother me during a longer stay.

Cozy self contained overnight stop with a beautiful peaceful garden.

Very warm welcome with good communication beforehand. A great little chalet with everything you need. So much cozier than a hotel room. The garden was lovely to sit out in after a long drive. Excellent overnight stop. Will definitely be staying here again.

Warm welcome. Attractive room, very comfortable and clean. Hot day so lovely to relax in the shade outside and eat dinner there.

The tiniest of negatives, as this is a basement flat the only light is from a translucent door. Fresh air can be had at night by leaving the door ajar on a security chain.
