About this house rental
Our four bedroom property is situated in La Cala de Mijas which is a small coastal town, originally a small fishing village and now a popular destination for those wishing to visit a charming town which retains much of its Andalusian seaside character.
The house is situated in a gated complex, about ten minutes walk from the town or fifteen minutes to the beach. It is sandwiched in a tranquil location between the local golf course and the residents’ shared swimming pool right outside the front door!
The house has four bedrooms, one master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom, two twin-bedded rooms and a further double bedroom on the top floor with a fabulous outside terrace overlooking the beautiful pool. There is a large family bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom.
The kitchen has been completely renewed and has all modern appliances including wine cooler and leads to a separate laundry area.
The large lounge diner leads out onto a terrace overlooking the golf course and is perfect for dining or BBQ-ing alfresco.
There is a wood-burning stove for the winter months but also the house is fully airconditioned.
TV and wifi is available.

From the very first contact with Janet we felt very confident that we had found the right place to go. Janet was very easy to deal with and her communication was first class. There was 8 adults in our party and i can honestly say everybody had plenty space and the house had everything you need to host a big group. The pool is great and just outside the door, plenty sun chairs available. There are 2 terraces which give plenty space to sit outside in the evening. We have been to La Cala quite a few times and always love it but this time with all the family it was even more special. Thank you Janet.x

A few little niggles like not enough sunbeds there was only 2 has 2 were broken, overall nice place to stay.

The property was just as described. There were 8 of us at the property and there was plenty of space.
The location was good - it is a little out of la Cala but not far and easy to walk. Janet was very helpful in regards to the booking and answering questions. There is plenty to do in the area and it is easy to get further afield - whether you drive or not. We had 3 children 10 and under and a 16 year old and there was plenty for everyone to do. It is easy to book trips out from la cala so would definitely recommend.
The communal pool was large and there was always plenty of space.
The only negative we had in the entire booking was the wi-fi. It was fine when only a couple of people in the property but if more than that it was slow which impacted when trying to watch films over the chrome cast.
However we all really enjoyed the holiday and would definitely stay again in future.
