Casa Borboleta

Great roof terrace, spacious accommodation, large light upstairs bedroom with good bathroom. Very nice resort in a good location. Thoughtful welcome pack of groceries, including milk, cheese, bread and ham on arrival, which was much appreciated.

We didn’t find the beds very comfortable and tried both the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms. The downstairs bathroom was a bit smelly. Wi-Fi was patchy and not working for 3 days. The hosts sent an engineer to rectify after trying to fix with a dongle.

We were very pleased with Casa Borboleta.  It is spacious, homely and has everything you could reasonably want.  If you are a cook, the kitchen is especially well-appointed with all the tools and dishes you might need.  It has a surprisingly quiet location on its small development, but far enough away from the swimming pools and central plaza with its restaurants and often music at night.  The piece de resistance is a large roof terrace with good sea and town views, perfect for that private sundowner!

I'm struggling to think of anything.   I would certainly want to stay there again, when I come back to Carvoeiro!

Everything, one small point the heating could have been better in the cool evenings.

The location

The house is very old inside, needs renovation! The smell is unbearable , you can not stay inside without an open window. Not worth the money for sure!
