Casa del sole tra l'Etna e il mare

Located in what felt like a residential neighbourhood, the apartment was spotlessly clean and quiet. There was garage parking. We had two similar sized rooms for our party of 2 couples and a shared bathroom. The kitchen was excellently equipped, had a little balcony area outside of it while the main sitting area was at the front of the property. This was perfect for sitting out in the evening with flowers surrounding us. We could walk in two different directions to either Pozzillo with a beach (it said no swimming but everyone was from beach and rocks) and a bar area. We had 2 x granitas, brioche and beers for just €10! This took about 15 minutes to walk. At Stazzo (15 minutes walk) there was a tiny shop en route but had enough for what we needed. The restaurant La Conchiglia was excellent. Definitely no swimming there but there was a fruit seller (on one day) and other bars. We enjoyed seeing the gelato truck going around blowing his whistle and selling granita and gelato. It was a quirky location, slightly off the beaten track. If you are looking for a relaxed taste of Sicily then look no further! And the owners were very lovely people too! Thanks so much, I would have liked stay longer.

We were a little nervous of damaging some of the many design touches around the place as it felt like a family vacation property. We struggled to get a regular warm shower. But there was 4 of us using one shower!

Great biking vacation location with live Etna on your wallpaper 🥰

Very friendly and helpful owners, perfect wifi internet connection and very well-equipped kitchen and whole house. Beaches are 200 metres far with access through wooden terace. Recomend to visit a Pizzeria fast food in walking distance recommended by house owners.

Ashes from Etna but it is a nature and nobody could affect it.

Friendly owners, even not speaking english we've been able to speak via google translator :-). They were waiting for us, since we arrived late, i appreciate that. Apartment clean with beautiful view of Etna.
