Holiday home Mely with heated pool in Makarska for 5 people, is located above the town in the hamlet of Kotisina - an idyllic and quiet place with a breathtaking panoramic view of Makarska, the sea and the surrounding islands.
The house offers a charming living room with an open kitchen and direct access to the terrace with pool. It has a total of three bedrooms: two with double beds, one with two single beds (which can also be joined) and one single room. There are a total of two bathrooms with showers available.
The basic equipment of the Mely house includes a comfortable living room with TV and seating, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, a washing machine, two terraces, an outdoor grill, TV, CD player, stereo system, air conditioning and Internet access via WiFi. The pool with sea views, an outdoor shower and sun loungers ensure relaxation and recreation.

Alles wunderbar!! Tolles Haus, toller Pool, tolle Aussicht. Wir hatten für die Kinder einen leckeren OSaft und für uns einen noch leckereren Weißwein im Kühlschrank stehen, das war eine nette Überraschung. Die Vermieterin stellte uns auch eine Schale mit Kirschen hin. Das war wirklich sehr lieb. Das Haus war für uns wirklich perfekt!!

Wir waren kurzentschlossen auf der Suche nach einer Unterkunft mit Meerblick und mussten uns daher auf die Bewertungen unserer VormieterInnen verlassen.
Diese Unterkunft liegt absolut idyllisch und bietet wirklich alles, was man für einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub braucht: Dadurch dass die Unterkunft in den Ausläufern der Berge liegt, bietet sie beides -- einen Blick auf das Meer und die Inseln mit regelmäßig traumhaften Sonnenuntergängen und genauso einen Blick auf das beeindruckenden Bergpanorama!
Mit dem Auto ist man in ein paar Minuten in der quirligen Stadt Makarska oder dem idyllischeren Tulcepi, wo man von ausgezeichneten Restaurants bis zu Bars und großen Supermärkten alles findet. Daneben kann man vom Haus zu verschiedenen Wandertouren unterschiedlicher Schwierigkeit aufbrechen -- sei es durch die Berge oder zu malerischen Buchten und Stränden abseits von Makarska. Und natürlich sind die bekannten Nationalparks in erreichbarer Nähe wie auch Split und die Inseln mit einer Tagestour mit einer der Fähren.
Das Haus selbst entspricht in Sauberkeit und Einrichtung mühelos einem sehr gutem Hotel-Standard und versprüht zudem den Charme eines modern restaurieren authentischen Gebäudes. Der private beheizte und nicht einsehbare Pool und die beiden zum Entspannen einladenden Terassen geben einem oft genug gar keine Gründe, das Haus zu verlassen. Ansonten ist das Haus sehr sauber und lässt z.B. auch in der Küche kein Utensil vermissen.
Die Gastgeberin ist äußerst zuvorkommend, immer hilfsbereit und stets auf das Wohl ihrer Gäste bedacht -- und wir durften uns über ein Starter-Paket im Kühlschrank freuen.
Unser Gesamtfazit: Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ruhe in den Bergen über dem Meer in einem Haus das wir sofort als unser zuhause für die Ferien empfanden und ein großzügiger Empfang von unserer Gastgeberin noch dazu…bravo

The house is belonging to a small hamlet located at about 5 km above the overcrowded village of Makarska. It offers a direct access to the hiking trails of the Biokovo Mountains. From a small terrace in front of the house you can appreciate a large sea view. On the first floor behind the house, you have a big and suitable barbecue area with quantity of kindling wood available. Downstairs you have a large kitchen/dining room (too lightly equipped) with air-conditioning. On the first floor, you have 2 bedrooms (only one equipped with air conditioning) and the bathroom. On the second floor under the top of the house (without air conditioning), you have a small rustic lounge decorated with many hunting trophies. Direct below the house, a garage is available for the car. The water distributed in the house is not drinkable. There is no shop in the hamlet, so you need a car to reach a huge supermarket (Konzum) located at about 3 kilometers of the house (entry of Makarska). If we have globally appreciated our stay in the Melly house, we would like, according to the expected standing, to mention the following points: an air-conditioning block in the second bedroom would be highly appreciated (it's impossible to stay and sleep without); a better equipment of the terrace located downstairs (longer roof, bigger table and chairs) with a direct access to the kitchen could avoid to relocate systematically the dishes on the first floor to have access to the terrace perfectly sized to take meals; the cooking utensils and the cleaning products are too limited; taking into account the overcrowded beaches around Makarska in high season and the time to reach it, a swimming pool would be highly appreciated.
