About this house rental
In the middle of the quiet village Kornic, surrounded by olive groves and about 15 minutes walk from the Bay of Punat, lies this wonderful holiday home. From a charming historic farmhouse, a modern holiday home was created with loving detail, which leaves nothing to be desired. On three floors and a total of 110 m2 of living space there is space for six people with every comfort. The house was classified with 4 out of 5 stars.
The tavern, the ground floor, where olives and wine used to be stored, can be rented separately to two people as separate apartments with separate entrances. It has a large bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The shady and quiet garden is ideal for staying and breakfast outdoors. The Konoba is a great retreat for chilling and "being without parents" for older children and teenagers.
The middle floor is accessible via an outside staircase. The highlight is the large terrace with shade awning and a view of the garden. The large extendable teak table can seat up to ten people. On the large electric grill station you can safely prepare fish, meat and chicken for larger groups outdoors.
On the middle floor there is also the large dining table, sofa, open fireplace and the open kitchen with gas and electric stove, oven, dishwasher and a spacious fridge / freezer. A small guest toilet and storage room complete the offer on the middle floor.
You can reach the upper floor with a free gable through the internal wooden staircase. It has two separate bedrooms and a bathroom in between, which can be reached directly from both bedrooms. The double beds with new quality mattresses are covered with bed linen, which we of course also provide you with cozy towels. The bathroom has a jungle shower and a skylight, which closes automatically in wind and rain.
The larger of the two bedrooms has a balcony overlooking the Bay of Punat and the surrounding olive groves.
The house is air-conditioned so that pleasant temperatures prevail even on the hottest days.

Die Fewo verfügt eigentlich über alles erdenkliche, was man/frau braucht. Genug Geschirr und Besteck, Kaffee-, Espressokanne, Wasserkocher, Rührgerät, Geschirrspülmaschine, etc. Auch Literatur insbesondere über die Insel ist vorhanden. Man hat vom Balkon im 1. OG einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf die Bucht. Im 1. OG befinden sich auch die beiden Schlafzimmer und dazwischen das Bad. Gut, die Doppelbetten sind nur 1,40 m breit und man gelangt nur von hinten (nicht seitlich) hinein, aber uns hat s nicht gestört. Im EG ist ein großer Koch/Wohnbereich sowie eine Toilette. Im Souterrain ist die Konoba ausgestattet mit Wohn-/Schlafbereich und eigenem Bad mit WC und Waschmaschine. Diesen Bereich haben wir nur einmal zum Waschen benutzt.
Essen, Trinken und Spielen sollte man/frau jedoch auf der großen Terasse. Sowohl auf der Terasse wie auch in der Wohnung befinden sich große Tische mit Sitzgelegenheiten.
Die Zufahrt in den Hof ist kroatisch eng, aber mit normalen PKWs gut zu meistern.
Im Ort selber ist in der Nähe ein kleiner Trgovina-Supermarkt für alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs und das Restaurant "Konoba Marea" (https://pilan-konoba-marea.hr/de/). Richtung Strand finden sich dann noch eine Bäckerei und die Post.
Zum Kiesstrand sind es ca. 15 min. zu Fuß (1,2 km).
Von Kornic aus sind viele Orte der Insel gut erreichbar und auch wer sich zu Fuß oder dem Rad aufmachen möchte, findet reizvolle Wege. Kornic selber ist - zumindest zu der Zeit, in der wir da waren - ein ruhiger, beschaulicher Ort.
Im Haus wird man/frau bei Fragen von der Schwiegermutter Kata herzlich empfangen, betreut und beraten.

Wir hatten zu viert einen sehr schönen Krk Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus.
Das Haus und die Lage haben uns sehr gut gefallen. In direkter Umgebung gibt es eine Konoba und ein Kaffee neben dem Minimarkt welche wir ausgiebig besucht haben.
Das Haus war sehr sauber und mit allem eingerichtet was man benötigt, lediglich eine Liege im Freien hat uns ab und zu etwas gefehlt. Besonders schön ist der Balkon mit Blick auf die Bucht von Punat.
Für Ausflüge in die Umgebung ist die Lage ideal.
Vor Ort hat uns Katha gut betreut, bei Bedarf war Jürgen auch stets per Mail zu erreichen und hat uns auch gute Tipps bzgl. Strände gegeben.
Wir können das Haus von Michaela und Jürgen nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit! Kornić ist ruhig aber zentral gelegen und das Haus ist wirklich schön und ausgestattet mit allem, was man so braucht. Besonders toll ist die Einliegerwohnung im Olivenkeller für alle die Großeltern mitbringen wollen ;)
Die Betreuung vor Ort durch Katha ist sehr liebevoll und die digitale Kommunikation mit Jürgen war mehr als unkompliziert.

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartung noch übertroffen. Alles war sehr sauber, frisch renoviert und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen!
