The location in a residential area is close to the center and still very quiet.
The apartment is located in a former World War II bunker. There are still other apartments in the building. Shopping facilities nearby.
Distance to underground connection 200 meters. For pier for harbor cruises 400 m.
If you want shopping has only a few meters from downtown and a few kilometers from the CentrO Oberhausen.
Industrial culture, castles, there are so many that we can not list them all here.
The apartment is not handicapped accessible and also not for dogs, cats and smoking suitable. There are no small cots or highchairs.

We booked the apartment in Duisberg due to the cities proximity to other cities. The apartment was clean and tidy, spacious and close to local shops and bakeries. You can walk to the tram stop in 5 minutes and the train station in 20 minutes. This is a good place for larger groups as multiple bedrooms and areas to sit. The only issue was with the lack of lights in the stairs which made it difficulty when coming back later.

Simple and straightforward appartement close to city center of Duisburg. Area is relative quiet and apartment suitable for children.

We rented for four months. Landlord is very responsive and takes care of all needs quickly. Furnishings are basic but functional. Great sunrise views. Easy access to Rhein and Ruhr, close to down town.
