Wow! This place is stunning. The location is gorgeous, right on the lakefront. The lake and mountain views are exceptional, and the main reason we chose this property. It's only a short, easy drive into Mostar, which we loved. We found parking quite easily, but we were there in October; it might be different in the main tourist seasons. It's so special that we're considering doing an extended stay here in either 2026 or 2027. The living room/dining area is a really great size. The kitchen and bathroom are on the small side, but adequate. I'm on the larger side (fat) and had to breathe in to get past the door/sink in the bathroom. We were lucky enough to have the main bedroom that had a wonderful view over the lake. It was large and very comfortable. It might have benefited from additional drawers on the wall with the mirror, but there was more than adequate storage for someone only staying for a few days. Access to the part of the accommodation that we had was very easy and good for people with some mobility issues. The other part of the villa is up a few steps, close to the hot tub. Maybe 5 or 6 steps in total. There was enough parking for 2 large vehicles and lots of land in the area where you could park other vehicles. As for Mostar, it's absolutely beautiful. We loved it, particularly at night. I'm so pleased we got to experience it at night as it's lit up beautifully. Mostar has cobbled streets, and even the bridge is cobbled. It adds to the charm and character, but could be difficult for those with mobility issues. We loved the food in Mostar and spent most nights in a restaurant called Hindin Han that was recommended to us by a few different locals. It was really lovely food and the price was great. On the first evening, we accidentally ordered way too much food, mistaking main courses for starters. We had 1 starter, 7 main courses, 1 dessert, and 8 drinks and paid under €110.
There wasn't anything we didn't like. The bathroom could have done with being slightly wider, but it wouldn't be enough to put me off staying again...many times. :D The bathroom isn't close to the bedrooms. If I could rearrange things, I'd have made each bedroom an ensuite and used the current bathroom to extend the kitchen, but again, none of this stopped us from having an amazing experience or from coming back. How difficult would it be to make the pool heated? Could guests pay extra for this facility? That might be something for the owner to consider, going forward, especially for us if we were to rent for a few months during the low season. Overall, we loved this place and fell in love with Bosnia. Make sure you see Mostar's old town, Kravice Waterfalls, and if you have time, go see Pocitelj - Ottoman Hilltop Village and Blagaj Tekija - Dervish Monastery. Overlooking Pocitelj village, there's a viewing point, but we didn't have time to do it. I wish we had. As for Blagaj Tekija, we found parking on the opposite side of the river with great views of the monastery.
