Quiet, bright one-room apartment (approx. 45 sqm) with separate entrance and own, covered terrace near the forest. A second, large terrace on the south side is available for shared use. The living-bedroom is equipped with a comfortable double sofa with chaise longue, a dining table with chairs, two beds (0.90 mx 2.0 m), a wardrobe, TV, internet. The electrical appliances in the fitted kitchen include an electric cooker, a microwave, a refrigerator with a three-star freezer, a coffee machine and a kettle. Bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, towels, hair dryer.
The apartment is located in a detached two family house. In a 12-minute walk you can reach the historic old town of Neckargemünd with its charming half-timbered houses and restaurants as well as the S-Bahn station and the bus stop: starting points for numerous excursions.
Neckargemünd, also known as the beautiful sister of Heidelberg, is only 10 km away from Heidelberg up the Neckar Valley on the romantic Burgenstrasse in the middle of the holiday region Neckartal-Odenwald Nature Park.
The city of Neckargemünd owes its name to the river Elsenz, which flows into the Neckar here. This place is something to miss when you leave it. It sits on one of the beautiful residential streets of Neckar-Gemuend and offers a view from atop of a hill. One is greeted with a beautiful sunrise in the morning and the city's shimmering lights at night.
It is convenient both for working remotely (reliable internet) and exploring multiple sightseeing the area has to offer. Either by car or train everything is within easy reach. Neckar-Gemuend itself, with its old town, unique system of stairs connecting the streets, beautiful walk on the river, is not to be overlooked.
As for the amenities, I didn't miss anything. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking your own meals.
I am thankful to the hosts and hope to visit again.
