Tau Game Lodge

This was our first safari, and we absolutely loved every second of it. The food was fresh and delicious every day, and the staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and friendly. Our ranger, Herman, was amazing—extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate. He made the whole experience truly unforgettable!

This is an absolutely incredible place. I feel very lucky that I was able to experience Madikwe and stay at Tau Lodge. Everything was top notch: the hospitality, the food, the service, our ranger and of course the amazing surroundings and abundant wildlife. We saw so many beautiful animals. I hope to return one day.

Beds were extremely hard. We asked for this to be changed after first night but no improvement! Had 3 nights of terrible sleep..

This was our third stay at Tau Lodge, and it was every bit as special and unforgettable as our very first visit. The experience just keeps getting better! A special thank you to our ranger, Herman, who was absolutely exceptional. His knowledge of the bush is incredible, and his perseverance in tracking down unique wildlife sightings made every game drive exciting and memorable. His passion for what he does truly shines through. The food was outstanding—every meal was beautifully prepared and delicious. The attention to detail from all the staff was exceptional, and everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Tau Lodge continues to exceed our expectations, and it's a place we always look forward to returning to. We can't wait to be back!
